IMHO

Usually when you have to resort to talking about D level tv personalites on your home page, then you might not be the greatest at internet marketing. Also their own link portfolio is VERY weak (at first glance)

The methodology they use is a good one for overall marketing though (Focus your message and build brand and expert recognition) It seems to integrate all aspects into one "package", but it seems they do not do their own SEO/SEM well (except for the most general of tactics)

I would say for offline marketing they may be great but LOL for online they do not seem so great at face value

I would suggest for you to sit down and think about what you like and dislike about your website. Take a look at several competitors and see what aspects of their sites you like. Next, take a look at other sites not related to your industry and see if there are certain elements you like.

Next, take a look at your Google results along with those of several competitors. Really capture some solid ideas about where you are, and where you wish to be.

If you can get a referral from anyone who has used a SEO consultant or company, that would probably be best. Otherwise you need to interview several.

Steph, I'd suggest reading the SEOmoz Beginner's Guide to SEO to get a good background on SEO. It'll help you judge if people are feeding you a line or they know what they're talking about.
