Shopping Experience Review Sites UK Market
There is also <cite class="vurls bc">www.reviewcentre.com </cite> It can be really helpful for giving confidence in your brand when customers are researching you and as well it's also a good way to get in touch with your customers and hear what they have to say about your brand. It can be a good tool. You can also get some links too, I have to admit it's expensive so I would recommend shopping about, normally what ever you invest in will come up with a brand search over time anyway. You can also always build trust in your site by letting customers review things on your site, the bonus of this is that it can give good social proof for the customer (e.g 100 people have liked this product it must be good). I hope some of this is helpful. Good luck what you choose and let us know how it works out.

What vanity Url should I use for Google+ business page?
Hi Ceclilia. What did you go for? We just got our Vanity URL invite and I have accepted what Google was offering. It is a bit frustrating that we did not have the option to alter the vanity URL to simply Binarydrive, without the CoUK at the end (especially as we do own the .com) ... either way, it is far more attractive, and memorable, than the old numeric string. Regardng your question, I agree with Kane, go for BRAND over keywords / location etc. I think over the next 12 months we will see even more penalties for location / keyword spammed URL's .... it really frustrates me to see poorly consrtucted websites ranking at the top when you search for "engine tuners in Norfolk" and get a top listing of "enginetunersinnorfolk.co.uk" or SIMILAR !! Build your brand.. think big.. one day you might want to be National or even Global Tristan Haskins

Bazaarvoice Cloud SEO SDK
Thanks Takeshi! In your experience, were you using the older or newer version? Have you had any experience with the Cloud? I think the point of contention on our team is whether it's worth the investment initially since we don't know what sort of reception it would get. They are thinking of slating it until post-redesign and after we see how active the community is. On the other hand, since we're about to embark on the redesign, we're wondering if we would save a lot of headache and cost if we just implemented it from the get-go instead of trying to retrofit it later. I'm going to bring these questions on a conference call Thursday with them, but if anyone has any insight here - I'm all ears! Thank you!

Company's Official Facebook Page Doesn't Appear In SERP
Hi Joni How about these other things; does your facebook page have any backlinks in addition to your own site (you can check in open site explorer) are you using the open graph tags? can you find your facebook pages in other countries? (try google.com google.ca google.co.uk google.com.au) for google.com.sa are you viewing in English or Arabic? try copying and pasting a snippet of text from your facebook page (like a sentence or two) and search for that in quotes in google.com.sa - does it return your facebook page? try also searching for: [brandname -site:yourdomain.com] - a search for your brand excluding your own site Let me know about those! -Dan

Press Mention with No Link
Great question Ricky. I deal with this all the time. It really depends on the publication. The first thing I would do is browse around a bunch of their other articles and see if you can find an example of where they linked to a source or a source's company website. Get in contact with the writer/editor and find out if they have a policy against linking or if perhaps it was just an oversight. The print world still doesn't necessarily think "on line," so sometimes they just need to be reminded that a link can be really helpful to their readers who want to find out more about the people, places and things mentioned in the article. Almost every time I've ever gone back to a publication and asked for a link in context, they've been more than happy to comply. I did have one hold out, that flat out said "no." The person saying no was not a writer, or an editor, but the VP of sales. I chalked it up to her just not wanting to be bothered with it, so I got on LinkedIn, found out who the online editor was, sent them a connection request (they also turned out to be the SEO). I asked them to include a link in that very same article, and Voila! We got the link. My advice is just to be very gracious and appreciative in your tone. The fact that you have a positive mention at all is awesome. I usually say something like " We have been big fans of your publication for years [only say that if it's true!] and it was so nice of you to mention us in this recent article. We thought it might be helpful to your readers if you included a hyperlink from our name to our site, Would you be kind enough to add that? We'd love to reference your write up in our blog."....or any variation. The more genuine you are, the better off you'll be. If you can, pick up the phone and call them. They have a way harder time saying no via phone. Hope that helps! Dana

How to leverage celebrity interactions for online marketing?
Try replying to celebrity tweets and mentioning them in your social media. My current marketing director does that and we get about a 5-10% interaction or reply. More importantly we've noticed if the post or tweet is in positive light they're more thank likely respond or react. We have a "Celebrity Body of Day" and we post it throughout all of our social media and have had great response from it. I hope that gives you a little insight. Good luck soldier.

International domain query
No, the owner of brandname.com will not necessarily outrank your client. If they are an established brand, they will have a lot of natural links from a If the client owns the trademark, they can go through the WIPO process to get that domain.

Best way to structure a new company blog with multiple existing individual country sites?
I'd be inclined to suggest individual blogs on individual domains. Doing this will allow each blog to cater to that countries specific market and better engage your audience. Let's face it, something that is of interest to some in New Zealand is not necessarily of interest to a UK-based market. Let me know if you disagree and we can discuss further.

Branded Domain Names - Keep or Sell?
Hi, It depends on the brand and the sector I think but as a rule it is not a bad thing to have control of your brand across domains. If financial considerations are not an issue I would keep them. 24 is not that many, I have seen a list with hundreds... with loads of different registrars and renewal dates.... it was a nightmare!

Best practice for heading structures on Ecommerce homepages
EGOL has it right. Should not need any targeted SEO to rank for your brand on the home page. But, for that reason, you should work on getting your home page to rank for non-branded terms in addition. I would include those in the title tag and an H1 tag on the page (I don't think it matters any more if it is H1, or H2, or H3, by the way, but some heading tag). Put the major non-banded keyword to the far left of the title tag and the heading. Brand name at the end. Also, the heading tag and the title tag do not need to be identical, so you can use different variants of the non-branded keyword in the title tag and heading.
