  • Did you try finding an answer in this thread on Google's Product Forums?

  • I received my invite to the Google Plus Custom URL today. I'm adding it. (Well, the url choice wasn't what I wanted. Will be posting a question about changing it before I go for it.) Here's some more information on it. https://support.google.com/plus/answer/2676340?hl=en&topic=2400106

  • Hi, if you use Followerwonk that will show you all your followers in one place. However, there isn't a differentiation with Twitter (unless it is something they have added recently) between a personal or a business account. So you can only check each of the profiles and try and work out which ones are personal and which are for business. Some will be obvious, some less so. I know it's not the answer you were looking for specifically, but I hope it helps, Peter

  • Yeah I've seen that Chris, thanks. I think it pulls this in from the @connect tab on Twitter.

  • I agree with Dario. Apart from it , you can try the below Get a vanity url to begin with. You can try gplus.to Add G+ badge to your website Share good content - every body wants to read good stuff Use images as much as possible Send out invitations to join the page Promote your G+ page on other social platforms Use your page link in your signature as well We have also been experimenting with the above and seen some results. Hope this helps

  • Bob, My first question would be what are you trying to get +1's for? Is it for your domain, specific link or something else? We wanted to have more +1's for our site, so we added a +1 button on our homepage so people could +1 it on the fly. It worked out and we now have 41 +1's more than before. Also, what we have found is that an incentive doesn't always work. It's a bell-shape-curve and after a while it will actually have a negative affect. I agree with Peter, sometimes all you need is great content but what I do strongly believe in is reminding people to do it. You could be on Yelp but if you don't tell people you are there and the fact that you appreciate their feedback, you won't get as many reviews. Same thing with +1's. Let people know you would appreciate the love, if they enjoy reading your content and they can decide if they want to +1 your link or not. If it is good content, it will work every time. Add that button to the target, it works like a charm. If people see it, they will remember to do it. I hope this helps. Best, Ashkan Sobhe

  • Richard and Vadim have some great points. I'd also look into an email marketing campaign to highlight some notes about LinkedIn and profile what and how your company uses LinkedIn to engage with Groups, updates, industry news, etc. Hope this was helpful to compliment the other ideas. Patrick

  • That is the same interaction that I was having with it as well. The client would like to +1 external articles as their business but not under her personal account.

  • Hi there, could you be more specific about which G+ button the question is about? There are several different types. Better yet, are you able to share a link to your site?

  • Hi Letty I don't think there is anything wrong with it, but if you are already committed to using Google+ and including authorship on your site's pages which is linked to your Google+ profile, then I don't think you need it. I would use Google+ instead. I hope that helps, Peter

  • For starter, I think the Facebook page name change was a hit. Well done, that is the option I would choose. As for your questions: Links from facebook does not count towards your Website's SEO. It helps SURE, as when users search for your brand they will be able to see your facebook page on the SERPs. However, it doesn't bring any direct benefit to your main homepage (other than socially). As said, the names you used BRANDNAME - SLOGAN is the right way to go. As they keywords will only help rank that page. Think USER. Have you tried searching in arabic to see if your arabic facebook page shows up?
