404 page cannot be created - Best solution?
Marcus, Thanks a lot! I've never imagined a simple solution as this one. For the template, i've chosen one from here: https://w3layouts.com/?s=404 For the .htaccess, that tutorial was really handy.

Website in English targeting different countries - is it worth investing in .com?
The structure is really going to be up to you. The differences in terms of what helps ranking are so very small today that it is better to choose based on user preference and your own. For consistency, it would be best to get a .co.uk that is on brand, but that route takes a ton of work over time. My favorite route is a subfolder (/uk) off of a gTLD in most instances. If your .com.au is already ranking well, expect that to keep happening until the UK subsite has had a chance to strengthen. And make sure your content is different!

Optimizing my images to appear on Google Images
So I have always renamed my file before uploading it. But what I realized is that while I was occasionally filling in the "title, alt text, description" I was not doing that consistently. I have started going back into my media library and filling that information in. As I have thousands of pictures on my sites, it will take some time, but I'm hoping that will fix my issue. I would also love to know if title, alt text and description should be the same. My gut says "no" because Google would likely see that as "spammy." I'm certain I could be wrong though. Would love to hear from others.

Not ranking - Scarped content
Thats for sure right, but the problem is that we have made many DMCA's When we do a DMCA, almost immediately Google ranks our site 1st when searching for the exact title of the article and scrapers are below. However, after 2-3 days our article disappears again. I really can't understand what is going on and guess that our domain is depreciated for some reason. I suspect it is going on due to 2 reasons: It seems impossible not rank even in 100 results for an article when scrapers rank 1,2, or 3 top position for the same article, and scrapers have lower website quality or bad backlinks profile. It cant be possible neither findind our website in top10 pages. So, I think it is a matter of domain undervalued. It can't be possible all the articles in Bing and Yahoo getting 1st when searching with their title and only scrapers with better backlink profile outrank us in this case (despite the fact that they link to our articles.) However, in Bing and Yahoo, even if competitors are #1 or #2 result, we are for sure 1st page and just below them (#2 or #3.) I can understand it absolutetly. But cannot understand why Google neither shows our article in 100 results. Its just abnormal. (And the articles are properly indexed). So confused...

Do people recover from an unnatural outbound links penalty?
Hey - it's just so hard to say without a link / some research. Just focus on quality and try to understand where the problems are so you are not SEOing in the dark. You could get an experienced consultant to take a look for a few hours or get a full on SEO audit which again will give you some more intel and a prioritised approach. Certainly though you can likely learn lots from analytics by understanding where there has been a drop in traffic, engagement etc. Always try to base the work you do on data and analysis where possible so you are not just spinning your wheels!

Usage of keywords in URL
Thanks for the replies! I believe Google makes matching keywords bold in the URL, so it can be good for the CTR. Which URL do you think is best for the keyword personal trainer software for both SEO purposes and CTR? yourdomain.com/business/personal-trainer-software yourdomain.com/software/personal-trainer-software yourdomain.com/software/personal-trainer Seems like most people would recommend going for option 1?

Schema markup for Webinars
The event does not have all required information in the eyes of Google. Will that harm the site? Images on sub domain fed from CDN
Alphonse it sounded like they were just waiting for the sitemap to launch. Other than that, I couldn't think of anything else to add because the sitemap should solve their issue. However, I have marked this as "Discussion" again.

UGC - Product Reviews Search Engine accesibility
If you want to show reviews for products you sell I recommend gathering and using your own reviews. If you don't have the volume for that and still want to show reviews, maybe consider an iFrame. It depends on the service and how their feeds/scripts work. For example, if the script is in a folder that is blocked in the robots.txt file, Google will not be able to access it and will not be able to render that content.

301 Redirect Url Within a Canonical Tag
In general, redirects can cause you to lose a small amount of equity. Both a 301 and a Canonical are forms of redirects except a canonical really only redirects the bots without redirecting the user. So much in the same way that it is not best to 301 to a 301 (though you can), it isn't best to Canonical to a 301. Now, it most likely won't hurt you doing that, if you prefer the easier of the two solutions, but its also important to remember that a canonical is a suggestion (not a directive). So the search engines can choose to disregard your canonical if they feel it is manipulative or not relevant. With this in mind, it is always better to point your canonical at the best, most relevant canon page instead of to another redirect.

Is this a correct use of 302 redirects?
Hey How about adding a rel="nofollow" to the links. Somewhat unnecessary but would send a signal that you don't want them to be called. Unless there are thousands of these pages I really would not worry about this too much - not to say it is 100% ideal but there are likely better uses of your time with regards to improving overall traffic etc. A more ideal solution would be to have some level of content on these pages at all times. So hard to advise here without any context but as an example we have a teaching agency that lists jobs. Often jobs in a given area are filled so are generally removed (Secondary Maths teacher in Birmingham). But by marking these roles as filled we can keep these pages with some relevant content, have some active lead generation to drive the email list (new jobs added daily) and add some urgency when there are live jobs on there. Just a better solution all round and it means we don't end up with fluctuating thin content pages. Hope that helps! Marcus

Issues with structured data on angular pages.
Hi there, Pre-render sounds like your best option here. Feel free to PM me a link to your site though and I can take a closer look if you'd like. Best, Daniel

Hi Marc, Could you please tell us if Caro of i have answered your question? If so, please mark the answer. It's nice to get some credits for the work we've both put into this Thanks very much. Bas

Where can i install my missing title tag?
Title tags are meta data that are added to each page of your website. As meta data, they are not visible to the visitor on the page, but they live in the code of the page (specifically in the page section) so that the search engines can find and use them. How you add the titles will depend on what system is running your website. If using WordPress, the best and easiest way is to add an SEO plugin like Yoast WordPress SEO or All in One SEO. These will add text boxes to where you create posts and pages that will let you add the page Titles and meta descriptions easily. Hope that helps? Paul

How to redirect old domain to new domain.
if English is your default language, keep that at the root (which I already see you guys implemented- nice!) and use subfolders for the remaining languages. be sure to use hreflang markup to let crawlers know which pages are translated versions of which pages. Should you use google url remover if older indexed pages are still being kept?
Thanks! Was hoping to recover a month ago but if google is still having these old urls cached, then they very well think we have them still, so hopefully once the urls are gone in google's brain we should see some improvement. Thanks for clearing that up, hope this helps others in the same boat or somewhat close.
