  • Domain Authority and Domain Ranking shows the worth of your domain.. However, there is no direct correlation that high DA will lead you to high rankings. These metrics are designed by tool companies not by Google so your main focus should be to write high quality content which will help your readers and good user experience is a big ranking signal. Also, DA and DR can be increased via many fake methods so don't take them very seriously.

  • Hi there, As Martijn has said, I wouldn't worry too much about th DA drop from 16 to 13, there are a range of factors that can affect DA and they're not all within your control. One thing to note in addition is that if you do use the disavow tool from Google to tell them about bad links, this isn't connected to Moz which means that your DA may still go up or down. The disavow tool is good to use if you have links which are clearly bad and that you want to tell Google about, but Moz will not factor this into their DA score. Hope that helps! Paddy

  • Hi there, As Sanka has said, it can take a few days before Moz adds links to Link Explorer after it has discovered the link. It's really important to remember that the Moz crawler won't be the same or even as powerful as search engine crawlers. So try not to worry too much if you're building good links but Moz hasn't discovered them yet. It's worth using Google Search Console alongside Moz which can give you another data set from which to see where you're getting links from. Again, it may not report everything, but it can give you another source of data to use. Hope that helps! Paddy

  • For onsite links, it takes time to get indexed depending on the age of the domain and the domain authority of your website. Generally, it takes 72 hours for the links to get indexed, but if it doesn't happen, you can request forceful indexing through the webmaster. For more information, you can contact Bester Capital Media. I think the experts there can help you further in this regard.

  • Hi there, nofollow links shouldn't harm your site's performance in and of themselves - they should just be ignored by Google when trying to rank your site. If you're finding that 99% of the links to your site are nofollow then perhaps you would want to have a look at how you are marketing the site - do you think the links are driving value in terms of getting real customers coming to the site to buy? If so then great, if it looks more like they are artificial and not driving value then even aside from whether they'll harm your rankings they could be harming your business in that time and money is being spent on something that isn't helping it grow. Long answer short - wouldn't worry about nofollow links too much, but wouldn't specifically go out to get them unless there is a non-SEO strategy behind it. Hope that helps!

  • You should only use a disavow tool if you are losing traffic or got a penalty. The Disavow tool is working, but it takes time for Google to stop counting these links. As Paddy said, these links will always stay, you cannot remove them by disavowing them.

  • You need to build high-quality links across the whole domain, but not to a specific page.

  • I agree with Thomas. If your backlinks are white hat, there should be nothing to worry about.

  • Don't go with these tricks. These links are not helpful for your blog/website. People make these links just to increase the number of Moz Domain Authority (DA). Sites with low DA like "IPLt20" has good result in SERP rather than high DA site which is made by the links you mentioned. So never recommend using these types of links that are not beneficial for your site ranking.

  • I would say, iframe src= counts as a backlink. To what extent is transfers the juice I am not sure,  but I definitely saw the links inside MOZ backlinks.
