Meta refresh and java script
I sent this to my developer and his response was that he didn't get what was wrong with the refresh url. his response was: The is redirecting to http://mastermindtoys.com/store/nojavascript.html only in case if the JavaScript is disabled in the client browser. This is the right way to do it, I don’t understand why this might be a problem, otherwise MM has to implement Noscript pages that have a real content. I didn’t get what’s wrong about accessibility. The code 200 means it is accessible, and yes there is nothing to access if JavaScript is disabled on browser. I think there are no modern retail sites that would do any sensible business with the scripting disabled in browsers.

Is brad callen right
I wish I could offer more then 1 thumbs up to Alan's reply. The internet is full of misleading SEO information. To anyone just starting out in SEO I suggest focusing on SEOmoz as your primary source of SEO information initially. Include Matt Cutt's blog and videos as well. This will shield you from most of the endless swamp of bad SEO advice. There are other great sites out there. Alan shares his wisdom at http://searchmarketingwisdom.com/ and I would sincerely recommend adding that site to your list of "trusted" sources of SEO information. Keep in mind this plan is not fool proof. Even experts make mistakes, and many great sites are open to anyone sharing their thoughts. I apologize if this seems like a rant it's just the original question ruffles my feathers. When I began to learn SEO I proceeded upon the "expert" advice I found and later had to unlearn my SEO "facts". I hope others do not have to travel down that road.

SEO Domain Values
Thanks Marc and Ryan, appreciate the feedback and I share your thoughts. Personally I would go for a dot com anyday too (but that takes deep pockets for a keyphrase dot com), but from an SEO perspective .net or hyphen seems to stack up equally so far..it's Rands recent comments about the Panda update and hyphenated domains that has me wondering what could be happening with hyphens now. Has anyone done any tests to see if hyphens are spammy? and how many hyphens it takes to be classified as spammy?

Website Content
It has no SEO effect if you keep your naming identical and in wordpress add .html so keeping the same url structure and naming. The extension is not taken in consideration. However if you move from /page.html to /page (no extension) it will be considered as a new page. So what you have to do is a 301 redirect from .html to /page... manually first and then if you have all your pages without extension just create a htaccess to redirect all pages from .html to no extension. Hope it helps. Let me know if you have any questions.

Is it necessary to optimize every page of a site
100% agree with this. Depending on the size of the site I would also try to make sure you don't have any dupe content anywhere and that you have unique meta tags across pages (again, depends on size of site). As you never know where traffic may come from and what surprises are in store. Then super focus on the sections of the site you feel are valuable, conquer and repeat.

How? Title in Google differs than actual title tag
Perhaps its some SEO testing. "Let's create a new page, use a robot txt file to block the bot, and then spam a 100k new links to page." "That's crazy enough that it just might work."

Keyword Self- Cannibalization
Ryan answered this question pretty well and I would like to add few points to it 1. As long as your site architecture is organic and designed for the user you should not be too concerned about page -keyword targeting. 2. Avoid have too many links on the page. Typically, there should not be more than 150 links on a page. 3. Make sure to have equal balance of content and images on the site. 4. Backlinks with good distribution of anchor text.

On site optimization - anchor text in body text
Hi Dan, I would definitely recommend doing this. Forget SEO for second, it is great for users! If you are talking about a certain producer on the homepage and you have a full page deeper in your site about that producer then providing your users with a direct link to that makes perfect sense. For sure, you should listen to some of the advise given above. Vary up your anchor text when linking to that page from different pages or sections of the site, but most importantly keep it natural and provide your users with the best experience possible. I believe you can find a number of articles here on SEOmoz explaining tests run on how Google only counts the first anchor text it crawls to each specific URL. So if you homepage navigation is crawled first and features anchor text A, then the anchor you use further down you page does not really matter. Make it good for users. Here is an article by Rand from 2008 although I am sure there are newer ones: http://www.seomoz.org/blog/results-of-google-experimentation-only-the-first-anchor-text-counts

Organic Landing Pages...
If the page simply exists on your site but is not in the navigation and has no backlinks to it then the chances are slim that you will rank well enough to drive a decent amount of traffic. This strategy can work but you will also need to add these pages to your link building campaign to raise their authority.

SEO for Blogs - Top Tips
Great thank you. Duplicate content is a good point. Using SEOMOZ tools should make that easier to manage

Separately bolded words
The effect will be minimal and other factors will outrank these subtle variations by far. I recommend that you do what makes sense for yourself and your users. Go easy on bolding terms on the page, excessive amounts are not a good thing.
