Hi Luke Griffiths-Jones, The url reflecting the Page title is a good practice and so is maintaining your URl´s as short as possible. In your case you have another option that would keep your url reflecting the page title and at the same time keeping it short (though i wouldn´t worry to much about 80 char more on this https://moz.com/community/q/maximum-length-of-the-url-for-seo-75-115 and https://moz.com/blog/should-i-change-my-urls-for-seo https://www.tumbleandhide.com/newton-leather-wallets-card-holders But if you want to choose between your two options i would go for the first https://www.tumbleandhide.com/collections/newton-leather-wallets-card-holders as the latter doesn´t include some important keywords.

I can't replicate this in live SERPs, but Matthew's explanation seems to match the evidence. It does appear that Google is doing some kind of implicit canonicalization. It's rare, but it does happen. You could try giving the PDF a unique title in its own meta information (the document doesn't seem to have any). It's more likely to look like a duplicate if that's undefined. The next step would be to recreate the PDF slightly and make it unique, but honestly, each step is going to get to be progressively more work. It really depends whether this is just an anomaly or it's causing you actual issues as a business.

Yes, it was a bad decision to hire a website design company. I have since taken the site away and built it on a custom platform.

It may be related to the specific theme or template your are using. If your site is responsive, check the css rules that are applied for mobile. A possible way to see if this could be the source would be to open up the page on desktop, resize your browser to the smallest possible size and refresh the page to see if it changes.

Do you mind sharing the domains that you thought was cookie-less? Google Analytics does not set cookies when you are serving images or resources like js, css, etc. It only sets cookies when you serve a page that calls the analytics code. Are you using some king of CDN, like cloudflare?

This could be due to a number of factors, however as of this morning (9/8/17) there is talk of a potential Google algorithm update- see more talk about it at https://www.seroundtable.com/google-search-algorithm-update-24433.html. This is just speculation but Google is showing a lot of SERP volatility in the last 24-36 hours.

No. Footer links will not impact your SEO. You're going to want to focus on your internal linking structure as a whole.
