Moz says the 17 title elements too long but they are part of my blog title?
It's not really that big of a deal if it's a blog title and I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Canonical Notice
It's just a notice telling you that a canonical tag _has _been implemented, it's not an error or warning.

Relaunch website
Tatal agree. The most important action to do is redirect your old domain to your new one, and create new and fresh content for the new one.

Website in a frame
So basically domain B now has domain A content etc without the iframe? And you are asking if you move it back to the way it was with a 301 redirect from domain B to domain A would you get your rankings back?. If domain A was set out the exact same way as it was originally. in time theoretically! yes! Kind Regards Neil

How serious an issue is Title Element Too Long (> 70 Characters)?
Hi Benjamin - it looks like you have a real challenge - you could drop your branding to help cut the size down as Irving suggested, however you are still going to have an issue with books that have long titles, as I am sure you have numerous that surpass 70 characters. In this situation I think you will just have to exceed it as this has to be the case for your competition as well - anyone selling books is likely to have long page titles. Have you checked your competitions tactics? I would have a look at Amazon if I were you...

Exat Match Domains(hypen)?
You can also go to the guy who owns keyword.com and try to buy it. Lots of people will sell. They often want a lot of money - especially if they are in the domain biz... but you might be able to talk them down or justify the high price.

Best information organization for a new site?
You want to have usability at the forefront of your mind when deciding this. From an SEO standpoint you will want to make the architecture as flat as possible (i.e. as few clicks as possible from the homepage to reach the deepest content of your website). As for your ideas though, I like number 2 better. Why? I imagine the mindset I'd be in if I was trying to remove sauce from my couch: 1. What material is stained. 2. What stained it. 3. How to treat it.

Site structure question
Jay It does get a little insignificant if its a small site (let's say under 50 pages excluding the blog). Subfolders are a great way to categorize your content and structure the site so that users and engines can understand the relationships. This is particularly useful on a larger site, where this type of categorization is more important. I'd say, small site - not a big deal. Make them short and avoid repetitive keywords. BUT if you anticipate this growing into a larger site, you're going to want that flexibility. Thinking long term it is a little limiting to have a theme that doesn't allow for this option. -Dan

I have 2 canonical links. Must get rid of one?
Remove the template one. Edit your wordpress template and remove the line code you want.

Checking for content originality in a site
Copycsape.com is a good place to see how much your content is duplicated with others… If I would be at your place I might never have considered duplicate content as a problem because of the following facts: I am the original source of the content Google is smart it can guess who the real content creator is and give all credits to original content instead of content scrapers… Mostly this happens with blog, infect SEOmoz blog’s content has been copied on multiple places but I a haven’t noticed any penalty on SEOmoz nor I see scrapers ranking above the original content.
