Why I am ranking for irrelevant keywords
Hi Irving Weiss, Thanks for reply. What type of penalization? And now i am ranking for guides pages for main keywords. Could you please suggest us how to resolve this?

Why is this site 1st in Google??
I ran it through the keyword difficulty tool and it appears it's a very low competition keyword. The site has a PA of 25 and a DA of 15, so I wouldn't be surprised that the keyword in the domain alone is the cause. The .com also ranks #6 and it has nearly no content which makes me believe this is also the case for this domain as well. Matt Cutts said they would be "turning the dial down" on exact match domains, not necessarily getting rid of it as a metric. It is still a pretty powerful ranking signal, just not as much as a few years ago. If you're trying to rank for this keyword just make sure your website design looks great and has plenty of good content, this alone should get you up there with them. Then just follow that up basic link building, nothing serious.

Internal Linking Question(s)
It's generally best practice to link in a way that's best for the user. As Nigel noted, it's common to have more than one link to the same page - especially if one is a navigation link. There's nothing wrong with this, but keep in mind that Google puts more weight on the first link to a page than second or third links. Instead of stopping link-juice to your Contact page, how about making sure that link juice flows back to your most important pages? You could easily link to top resources on your site that your audience may be looking for, and this could benefit both your users and how Google views your site. (nofollow link sculpting was a practice popular a few years back, but it's not really used anymore by most SEOs) Since you're leaning on-page SEO, here's a video Rand did you might like: http://www.seomoz.org/blog/getting-onpage-seo-right-in-2012-and-beyond-whiteboard-friday Hope this helps! Best of luck with your website.

SEOmoz Says 530 - Google Webmaster Tools Says 16
We has the same problem, after a lot of research we figured it it was scripts. If we had a script on a page it counted the page twice most of the time. The Seomoz crawler isn't as advanced as the Googlebot so it can't do quite as much.

Handling a Huge Amount of Crawl Errors
Usually an on page audit lists all of the problems and possible reasons why they are happening, not in depth info on how to fix all the issues. That is usually the next phase, "do you want me to work on the site or do you want your dev team to track down the cause of the issues and fix them" It also depends what type of contract you have with him of course.

Are outlinks an essential element for onsite SEO?
I don't think it's an essential part for onsite. I actually interpreted Steve's words to mean "If you are going to outlink, make sure you outlink to a reputable/high authority website". So, my interpretation is that you do not have to outlink by any means, but if you do (say if you wanted to cite a source), make sure you outlink to a good quality website. That's only my interpretation though, so would like to hear others' as well.

Crawl Diagnostics - Duplicates and canonical problem
The canonical tag won't tell the Moz crawler (or Google) that the duplicate simply does not exist. All a canonical will do is suggest Google to prioritise the canonical URL and ignore and devalue other URLs with duplicate content. The canonical solution will be fine for Google, but if you wanted to remove the duplicate reports, you will need to actually change the titles/content. If you have the time, I'd recommend doing this.

Why do I hear that it can be a bad thing to have too many content pages?
Excellent answer by Gil. Thanks for the great post. The purpose behind the search engines' very own existence is to provide and present the visitors with, the most relevant and comprehensive information about the search term and as long as your pages provide this to the visitors, they will rank high in the search engine results pages and can possibly withstand the future algorithm changes.

Hey guys! I was looking at adding the H1 tag lower on the page than the H2 tag because I want the top bit to be a call to action. Is this proper practice?
Hi Anton, Great question! Folks get really caught up in the proper way to use H1 tags and there's a lot of misinformation and rumors out there. In the old days SEOs discovered that there was a correlation between words in the H1 tag and rankings, and so it became best practice to load all of your keywords there. As time drew on and Google became more sophisticated, new research by SEOmoz and others discovered that there really wasn't a statistical significance to adding keywords specifically to the H1 tag - in fact the simple use of keywords in a large font towards the beginning of the document worked just as well. So the best thing you can do for an H1 is the way it was intended - use it as the unique title of the document. I don't see a problem if this means it's placed after the h2, but I would be wary of placing your most important content further down the page. Google seems to discourage important content pushed too far down the page, but sometimes there's legitimate reasons to place your CTA in a prominent place. Just make sure your readers can easily find your important content - especially true if you're placing a CTA on every page!

Onpage SEO before Offpage?
I agree with Matthew. However, I suppose it would depend on what your current site is like. If you can get your google + or facebook campaign rolling now without much effort then go for it, but if you are starting the whole process from the beginning, then on page is where you need to be first.

Product category content!? what should it include?
It seems i'm gonna need to redesign a little bit the website, to make it more SEO friendly. As of now, my category webpage is split vertically... and on the left i've got thumbnails of the products, with short descriptions. And i simply load the 'div' on the right, onMouseOver / onClick. Adding text content would impact usability... in the end, everything a customer needs to see are pictures + a couple lines of text. But ... Content is King, i guess. THANKS for your reply!

Can you find the "problem" metric or metrics?
Hi Boodreaux, There are numerous reasons this can happen. Remember that the linkscape index is only updated once a month, so the results you are looking at are not based on "real" time stats. That's the first thing to consider. Also, if you are an- e-commerce site or selling a product, did you have a promotion that was in place that recently ended? I've seen sites move up and down just from free shipping offers being turned on and off. So I would look at whether or not the offer or content on your homepage (or the page you are comparing) has changed at all. Some other things to think about: What is your bounce rate and how has that changed over the period of time ranging from when you were #2 to when you moved to #5? I have seen sites move down when their bounce rates increase. One last thing to consider: Were there any inbound links from new agencies, or high-profile, high-authority pages that have dropped off? I have seen a company get featured in a magazine like Wired.com and bump up because of news events, and then settle back into a lower spot after the news cycle passes. Okay, maybe that wasn't the last thing. How new is your site? Did it launch within the last four months? While it may be an Internet myth, I do think that brand new sites discovered by Google and other search engines get a little "bump" in their rankings when they first come out. Then, there is some settling that occurs. This could also be a factor if your site is new. I know this doesn't give you any hard answers, but I hopes it's encouraging and helpful. Dana

Conflicting Canonical Tag in On-Page Report
If you are getting a Fail in Critical factors that means the canonical tag is pointing to a different URL then the one you are trying to grade/optimize. Are you looking at the report card of the page http://www.hometheatercooling.com/Audio-Fan.html? To be more clear, the Pass in optional Factors means that yes, you use a canonical tag, the Fail in Critical factors means your canonical tag doesn't correspond to your page url.

Regarding the META KEYWORDS tag
I just checked the page's source code using my browser and—lo and behold!—there was the META KEYWORD tag . . . which it appears Magento had populated on its own. I'm not competent to edit templates, and as long as there's no penalty, I don't think I'll mess with it. It's unfortunate, though, that the on-page optimization tool doesn't like it.
