Duplicate page title at bottom of page - ok, or bad?
Hi David, Wow, every person who replied has helped me greatly. Thank you! That tool link you sent me was great. I am using that as we speak. I like the Similar Page Checker tool you have. Question - at what % threshold would you think about consolidating or deleting a similar page? I have located 2 sets of pages thus far that are very similar. We initially created them to go after similar variations of a keyword. Ie, "mens-titanium-rings" and "mens-titanium-wedding-bands". But the products are identical. That set of pages has a 54% similarity. Would you ditch one of them? I'm not sure where the threshold should be. Thanks again!

Shopify vs BigCommerce vs Lemonstand vs Yahoo
No problem, I am one of their community moderators for their forum, so if you have any questions like if something can be done with it; you can send me at http://dh42.com/contact/ ( I hope this is ok, I don't want to put my main email address out to get scraped). I can let you know if something is a stock feature or not. Because with the hosted platforms like Shopify, Lemonstand, and BigCommerce the features are limited because you do not have access to the core application. With something like Prestashop or Magento for that matter since you have access, you can really do anything your budget allows.

Is it best to condense 2 similar category pages?
It's hard to say but I've seen examples where removing duplicate categories has improved the strength of the ones that remain. It does depend on the architecture/internal links on your site, what if any external deep links you may have and making sure any removed categories are correctly 301'd to the category that you keep. I've also seen examples where it's made no difference at all. If you've got as whole bunch of categories in your navigation I've also seen improvements in engagement by putting these categories in popularity order (Google Analytics can tell you which categories are the most popular). Make the ones that people are looking for easy to find. If you've got the traffic, it can be worth testing.

Guest writer for a magazine that is .pdf?
Hi Karl, The magazine is reputable, but don't think it goes out anywhere except to their online members. I like the idea you mentioned, but seems the tough part of content marketing is the outreach part. Man there is such a wealth of knowledgeable folks here on moz. Awesome having experts like you help small guys like me. Thanks so much! ron

Should I blow up our subdomain?
They really aren't providing any traffic and the content is poor, and not written by me. I generally answer these questions by thinking about the user experience. I would delete anything from the site that does not provide a good user experience. Google devotes considerable resources to determine which sites provide a good user experience and we can assume they will continue to get better at this in the future. Best, Christopher

Where to learn how best to promote content?
Hi Ron, A good tactic can be to find out where people are talking about or asking questions that your created content answers. A good way to do this is to use google to find forums and online communities that are discussing the very area that your content is related to. Drawing people to your content in these forums and communities can be a good way to raise brand awareness or have people reading and sharing your content (providing it is v. good quality or answers their questions). Another great way to promote it is through social media. Doing this well though through social media usually requires a strong following and regular quality content updates. If you do this well, this platform for content promotion is most effective. All the best, Gav.

Worth contributing articles to a Page Rank 1 site?
Great direct advice, which I shall follow. I guess the 2nd step is after creation of good valuable content is to .... share it. I'm thinking in my case sharing with jewelry industry news websites, bridal websites, wedding planning, mens fashion websites. And if they think it is valuable content, they can mention it and send a link to our content. So this is good, right? I'm developing an indepth article as we speak that I think is valuable.

Google Webmaster Tools > HTML Improvements > 301 Moved Permanently pages - how did they even get there?
Wow, thanks Gary! You rock! We are a Yahoo Store, but FastPivot has been our developer for several years. It appears maybe one of the developers made a mistake of some sort and their blog posts were creating pages on our site. I'll ping them. Thanks again I really appreciate your help! Ron

Product Review Email - what is the average conversion rate?
Not too many repeat customers. About 90-95% new customers. And we do offer an incentive, a drawing for a $250 gift certificate. Maybe I'll change it up to offer an ipad. Thanks for the feedback!

Links from Instructables.com?
I'm doing some experimenting with Instructables, and some profile links are no-follow. I don't know if it's because the accounts are new, or that you need to have a PRO account to get follow links ...

Testimonial pages
I just want to add a little bit to what Oleg said considering conversion-wise vs seo-wise. One question you should ask yourself when considering what to do is, "What will help my end user decided to actual pay me for my product/service?" In your case, if you're wanting people to actually read the testimonials, shorter, and fewer is better because when someone sees a lot of text they tend to skip over it. This is why top 10 lists are effective as blog posts. The old adage of "you can't judge a book by its cover" should read "you shouldn't judge a book by its cover." I can and do judge by a cover. Magazine publishers have known this for a long time.
