If you want to go with a free tool, you can also check the xenu link sleuth (http://home.snafu.de/tilman/xenulink.html) Just make a full crawl with the tool, export page map to tab separated file. Then you can open this file in Excel (or any similar software). It should do the job

Improve rankings of product ecommerce pages
Hi, There are numerous things you can do to improve organic ranking factor on a page-by-page basis. From a quick look at the page, I can suggest to action points that should help with organic ranking and CTR. Page Titles: Page titles should include keywords relevant to the content of the page, try not to use generic 'buzzwords' across all the pages (e.g 'Free Shipping' and 'Best Prices') and keep the page titles within Google Guidelines (50-60 Characters). This is the clickable link that is displayed within the Google search results and can be seen as the most important part, to entice CTR. Meta Descriptions: If meta descriptions are un-optimised, Google will typically pull content directly from the page and ignore the one provided. With the page you provided the meta description length is 276 characters long, Google Guidelines state meta descriptions should be no longer than 160 characters. I would look to update these across all pages that you wish to increase organic traffic for, which should help the ranking factors organically. Here is an article on technical SEO that may help you with other factors: http://searchengineland.com/definitive-seo-audit-part-1-3-technical-250541 Hope this helps, Thanks,

Benefit of getting more then one link from a site?
My friend, there is no limit on how many backlinks you can get from a website, but its really important on what website you are putting links, websites with high PA DA will boost your page rank where as , if PA DA is not good it will not be beneficial to your website. There is no such exact number. But i want to make you clear about something important. Google gives more importance to the sites which had links from more number of quality root domains than number of links from a single quality site.

Categories showing on SERP listings?
Hi there, What SERP results you get depends on your search queries. If you search for a niche category of your products and you see your results, naturally you will see the URL where these products sit. So it is the exact URL of the result. Potential benefits: You see the search term a few times which might look appealing and increase CTR's You can easily run research on competitors and see how they organise their sitemap or in which category they place a particular product Potentially it can be more eye-catching as it takes more space than a short URL. I hope this helps. Katarina

Search Console - Best practice to fetch pages when you update them?
Yup, if you fetch it, it's more likely to appear fresh in the index. If you don't fetch it, you'll have to wait for Google to crawl your site again. This does not mean that your site is instantly indexed as soon as you fetch it; you just send a signal to Google that you want it crawled again and you'll see a status next to the page.

How would you build links to this page?
Why don't you try and do some kind of work with universities? This might be out of date now, please correct me if it is, but I think .edu and .ac.uk links tend to have a nice domain authority. Links from these sites could help your site's trust ranking increase. Maybe donate blog posts about how to build a career in fashion to universities/colleges providing fashion courses. If they publish it online you get link juice. Where I work, we recently ran a workshop with some college students (in a lab, we're a scientific manufacturer) and they wrote a blog post about it. Good PR and we now have a link leading to our website from a .ac.uk domain – I actually saw our domain authority rise by 1 point after that link went live. Anything you can do with education will always help. So internship competitions (have lots of different uni's/colleges publish a post advertising work experience with you) or any other collaboration. Cheers Mike

Will my site get google penguin slapped?
Hi Wozniak You run a real risk of picking up an algorithmical Panda penalty by having so much duplicate content across these pages. For websites that truly operate in geographic areas it is perfectly OK to have location pages for each of those places. However you really need to break this down and present interesting pages packed with local information. This is going to require a bit of work but I would start from a blank template and just write original content or get a good copywriter to do it for you. Mention local landmarks, town history and places of significance. Make it really 'local'. Even include some photos of the town centre and make the URL of the photo eg /abbotsbury-carpet-cleaning.jpg and the alt tag eg "Abbotsbury Carpet Cleaning" You will not only present a far better user experience but you will not risk any penalty either now or in the future. Long product urls ecommerce store
You are correct, the more user readable friendly (short, easy to understand, without long alpha-numeric strings) your urls are the better they should perform, as long as your on page content is considered relevant by Google for whatever terms it is using.

How to get local search volumes?
Of course every single area is not going to be listed so the best way would be to search for the closest nearby city - in this case Sydney and adjust by population, So if Sydney had 10,000 searches for carpet cleaning and 20x higher population than Manly then one would assume a search volume around 500. The assumption being that the search will not differ so greatly for towns and cities in close proximity. I hope that helps Regards Nigel

70 sites on one instance/server negative for SEO?
Hi Wozniak65 It's a very strange and outdated approach. If they really want to go down the route of promoting each store individually then far better to build one central website and have a page for each store location. They could then use local citations for each of the locations that the store is in. It's not so bad for the SEO them being on the same server it is the fact that most of the content across the 7- websites will be duplicate content with only the location different. This would effectively kill each of the sites from an SEO point of view before anything else. Considerations: 1. Acres of duplicate content 2. The immense amount of work involved to build 70 websites 3. The immense amount of work required to keep all of those sites up to date. 4. The central company information will be the same for all 70 stores presumably. 5. The ip address of the server will be the same for all 70 stores. It's like having 70 micro-sites for the same company. For me it's huge no no Google Panda released in 2011 directly targeted skinny sites with low value content in favour of well written, well constructed content rich and engaging sites. I honestly think you should press them to go back to the drawing board in favour of a one site/multi-location solution. Regards Nigel - Carousel Projects

How did these sites get two organic listings?
Hi there, Google tries to select the search results that are most likely to satisfy the search queries - I.e. they provide answers, resolve issues, etc. in comparison with results that will be diverse but likely to result in bounce rates. Therefore, it is irrelevant that multiple results come from the same domain. Any brands search can be a quick example that will just confirm this claim. I hope it helps. Katarina
