Not dramatically, before hand they was not keyword driven enough.

i have just added the targeted keywords into the page titles as thought would boost my rankings.

How long is a good time period to judge if its working or not then?

Hi i changed my page titles for a competitive keyword last week and noticed it has dropped 9 search engine ranking positions. Was ranking 37 and now it 46.

Would you guys leave it and see if it starts creeping back up or change again?

the page title i used was across my pages for example was Primary keyword | secondary keyword | Heading on page

Also, does this mean when the change is made there will be a big reshuffle of websites ranking positions?

Hurts a bit as it is for alot of my targeted keywords.

Is there anything i can do to get the rising again? I need to sort out 301 redirects on my duplicate index pages which i think will help.

Any other suggestions and quick fixes??

I have been going through and changing page titles for my site which is currently huge attracting massive amounts of traffic. However from my pro membership i have notice a lot of the rankings in Google search engine has decreased.

I have been using a strategy that i read on SEOMoz which is;

example

Keyword | Page heading | company name

Is this why? if so what is the best method? I have changed nothing else so far.

Does it matter if you use the same H1 tag on various pages in the same site? or will this become duplicated and penalised by the search engines?

Quick and easy  most likely -

Just need to clear a few point. I understand each page within the site should only have one H1 tag which should be the most important one. I also believe these only effect google ranking very slightly? right?

Currently my CMS is system is pulling the H1 tag in from the page and automatically using the page heading that is on the page IE) the heading used for the content.

Should this be a keyword /  key phrase instead? and will it be duplicate if i used the same one on various pages in my site?

Can you optimise websites using flash?

is it exactly the same aspects to optimise or does it cause problems??

I am currently working on a huge website which ranks very well receiving 150,000 visitors every day.

I have been offered the chance to buy some more domain names which would suit my keywords in the current site. These domains as a keyword also receive huge amounts of traffic.

Would it be beneficial for me to do this....if so why?

I look this morning on the rank checker for my site and it said 127 KW's had improved with 11 Declining.

Just refreshed it.....

105 improved with 60 declining???? Why is this - i havent changed anything with the past wk!!!!

Its not a site map as the is not one at current i am working on this.

Its a huge site. SEO moz pro tool shows that there are over 8000 pages with too many links??

As you say, there isn't a great deal i can really do about it. However, was very curious to see how this will affect things?
