How to set an appropriate Adwords max CPC?
This is another great suggestion and YES I do this on a weekly basis. IMO, your answer fits right in with the discussion. I usually like to pull my full reports from AWStats from within the server. I then "weed" out certain words that should be within my negative campaigns and find others that may be worth running.

Frequency of Press Releases for SEO Purposes
Whilst I thank you for your response, I am curious as to if you would elaborate more. You have stated that we have both missed the point? I am wondering, what exactly is the point that is being missed on both ends? So you are telling me that the frequency of backlinks being created on a certain domain does not affect the quality and value of the backlinks? Especially if this same PR is being distributed into a network of other PR sites? What about using the top X amount PR sites (some free) once per month? Some do not have a distribution network and some do or you can opt out of such a feature. The proposition given to me was, release a PR once per week for the SOLE purpose of developing/creating backlinks to a specific site. We do not have press/news worthy enough information to release on such a frequent basis. Who really does? Are these backlinks really worth that much to release "unworthy" news? Would really like to hear more on how you back up your opinion.

Is it worth editing older blog posts for SEO purposes?
If its the improvement of user experience - then the addition of relevant links is worth doing definitely, with respect to changing the content itself, I would be inclined to only make very minor edits and not disturb any of the long tail phrases you are ranking for.

Are "Content Farms" still good for backlinking in articles?
Appreciate the response. I couldn't agree more with focusing time and resources on the site itself and other quality backlinks. I really just needed some reassurance so I can focus our attention on what is more important. As mentioned, this question arises from a co-worker (who doesn't understand SEO) doing some research and reading a forum response from last fall about using these "content farm" sites... Initially, I told him that it was a waste of time, but everyone seems to panic when they find a new median source to use without consulting me or doing the research.

Submitting Same Press Release to Multiple Sources
I think its okay, because you're paying for service and its pure white hat, its just like using adwords and msn at the same time.

Follow or Nofollow outbound links to resourceful, related site?
spot on, no-follow does leak link juice, it just that it is not awarded to the linked-to page. the only use for it is when you dont vouch for the linked-to page. No-follow for a limited time did not leak link juice, but this made it hard to get links because everyone was trying to hoard link juice, many still believe no-follow does not leak link juice and are still reluctant to give a follow link.
