That honestly makes complete sense. Thank you for explaining it so well for me - I've compiled a custom report for our client this month, and appreciate the quick response!

The old SEOMoz had the ability to do weekly, monthly and quarterly reports (http://moz.com/help/pro/custom-reports) but it appears that page is out of date and I can't set a report up to show monthly report data.
