Penguin Strikes Again
We have seen it strike one of our competitors this week really, really hard. Like going from #1 to out of the top 50 for 150 geo keywords. How long ago did you disavow the links? If it was over 3 months ago, it might be time to look at doing a URL change. Unless you have a lot of time to play the waiting game with Google. If it was less than 3 months ago, I would give it that long and see what happens while really focusing on building high quality links.

Is Penguin 2.0 recovery possible?
Yes it is possible. One of my sites took a medium size hit from Penguin 2.0 and it recovered fully and then some about 2 weeks ago. Oddly the date for my recovery from Penguin seemed to coincidence with the easing of Panda (all my material is unique). Not sure if that helps or makes things more confusing. Good luck.

Post Penguin 2.0 Actions
Using Open Site Explorer, it looks like the keywords "Car Insurance" and "Compare Car Insurance" were heavily used as anchor texts. You might want to get a more versatile backlink profile (I'd do that). Analyzing your backlinks revealed that many of then come from press releases. You can also try to mix things better.

Big traffic change for top URL WMT Message
Hey, You didn't say in your post, but when you refer to the traffic numbers you are looking at in Google Analytics, are you looking specifically at Google organic traffic? If you aren't seeing a decrease from Google organic traffic in Google Analytics, then my initial reaction would be to trust Google Analytics traffic data over a message from Google Webmaster Tools. If you have some kind of secondary analytics tool (even something like AW Stats installed on your server) that could be helpful to look at as a double check to make sure you've not seen a drop in traffic from Google. The other thing I would like at is your top pages that get traffic from Google organic searches. Have any of those pages dropped? For instance, your home page might have experienced a large decrease in traffic from Google organic which could indicate a problem there. Hope that helps. Thanks, Matthew

Improved Landing Pages But Higher Bounce Rate??
I can see how you have made the testimonials more prominent which is good because they can reinforce trust (trust elements) but they are in the wrong place and you have stripped out the directional cue on the new page (the arrow pointing to the CTA). You need to tell the user your USP in the headline (very important area) so rather then saying: 'Car Insurance Quote' say 'Cheap Car Insurance Quotes Fast'. And that legal sentence isn't holding any benefit, I prefer the old para. This link might uncover some ideas. http://blog.kissmetrics.com/landing-page-blueprint/
