Worse than using a keyword 30 times in a very long article would be using it twice redundantly in the title of the article. "Growing garlic: a guide on how to grow garlic" Your garlic article does contain 1250+ words, including garlic 30 times.  Your title includes it redundantly.  The question you really need to know the answer to is: "how do the top sites rank well for this without putting it in the article 30 times?" http://www.greenharvest.com .au/Plants/Information/GarlicGrowing.html This is one of the top results here in Australia.  It uses the word garlic about 25 times and ranks very well despite having garlic on page very frequently. <title></span><span>Garlic growing information</span><span></title> ^ Their title also contains the word, but just once. So, I would focus more on the structure of each page and less on the keyword density.  I don't think you're overdoing the density, although the repeated title may hurt you.

Thanks for the answers and suggestions. Yes my friend did answer "widgets" I have printed it and and read on paper rather than screen and now it does make f or some bad reading so changes are to be made. Reading the link from eyepaq help me decide not to split the page into two as then the content would have been too thin. So once again many thanks

Thank you for having a look I made no strcutural changes around the time of the issues starting. On the third graph in GWMT yes there is was a spike on the time spent downloading at it is still a lot higher than previously. I have add an image of it below. There were two google update about two weeks later the latest Panda and the new EMD. Most of the content has been written by myself from my own experience etc. There are some pages that I am in the process of removing / changing that are the same as other sites. Until 4 months  ago the layout was in fixed size nested tables etc, I am just about getting my head around CSS etc., to try and drag it in the 21st century. ALKBp.png ALKBp.png
