I am planning to work as a freelance SEO consultant. So I am not sure which tool I can use to automate the reports I have to provide them.

There are some spam tools that let you build links that way. However, I am not going to name them here for obvious reasons.
Use SEOMOZ open site explorer to find potential links.

Installable SEO Softwares or Web Based SEO Apps?
Hi,
I have been thinking about SEO applications. Currently I am trying SEOMOZ pro. But honestly, 99$ is too much for me.
So, I was thinking of a one time fee based SEO Software. SEO Powersuit, IBP etc.
My question is, are they really valuable? I know it wont compare to SEOMOZ when it comes to the community, Q&A etc.
Is these softwares really worth it for automating client reports and so on?
Are there any free alternatives to such softwares?
Thanks
