Blocking subdomains without blocking sites...
Ah, I see now. Try this out http://moz.com/community/q/block-an-entire-subdomain-with-robots-txt#reply_26992 - basically, when a subdomain is identified, it would pull a different file into the robots.txt location (which would contain the disallow: / syntax) Read the remaining comments about getting the subdomain removed via GWT.

What to do when majority of results have shady links?
I went through a phase of getting really frustrated about seeing competitors succeeding with dodgy link tactics. Then I decided to focus on differentiating our sites from competitors with great content, great usability and outreach into relevant communities. This wasn't just some random mission - I analysed site performance before and after SEO began (we were late adopters of SEO) and realised that we are now converting and generating revenue much more effectively even though we don't yet dominate the SERPs quite to our heart's desire! With 13 retail sites to look after I simply don't have time to start a crusade against competitors employing dubious tactics. Black hat SEO can help a site to achieve high rankings, but it can't make visitors buy. If you are selling any product you still have to make shopping a comfortable experience, present your products well and most of all gain the trust of your visitors so they will take the plunge and complete an order. By all means report as you go along if you come across something Google might take seriously, but stay focused on developing and promoting your own site.

How can I replicate India SERPs from US
Yeah I was going to the account, and trying to set the search location to India locations, but since it was .com it wasn't going to work. I was trying to find a way to make it ignore my IP as well. Either way I still didn't see the site on the indian version of Google, when not logged in (e.g. no history to change my results). If I am reading the google custom search notes correctly your URL would have google show me Indian sites, but our site is a .com in the US being clicked on by people in India, so I am not positive it would work for what I am looking at. I appreciate the help though

Rankings Report Visits Number timing?
Hi Charles, Sorry to see that your question hasn't been answered yet! I just stumbled upon it way down in the list, so am assuming that you still need an answer. First, you are absolutely correct in deducing that the default Traffic Data report is based on weekly data from Google Analytics. You can also see Monthly data by going from the report you see in the campaign overview to the Traffic Data page (either click See Full Traffic Summary, or click Traffic Data on the Pro App menu bar). Once on the summary page, you will see that there is a selector at the top which allows you to change the filter to monthly instead of weekly. It is important to remember that these Analytics results are for the preceding period (ie the past 30 days, not month to date). Hope that helps, Sha
