Let me just warn that you shouldn't always take the industry leaders as a good example. Yelp has a brand and link profile that allows them to get away with plenty of bad or just mediocre practices. I think the Panda philosophy is going to continue, and it's not all-or-none - thin content and a bloated index can harm the ranking power of your other, more critical pages. You may rank for more long-tail phrases, but that can come at the cost of higher rankings on your money terms. It's a balancing act.

I'm trying to go the publisher route, ie business pages not author. Interesting, sit and do nothing, now it reports as verified! All very odd... Just thought I'd give an update, and in case anyone else is patiently waiting for reviews or marked up content to appear, hang in there, as ours is now finally showing, 12 months after we first marked it up!! Finally!

aha! thanks, yep exactly the issue/ Seen the response from Aaron Wheeler "so perhaps we should also exclude those noindex pages from issue calculation as well. That's in the next couple of months, though." Think I'll drop them an email to remind them At least it's not an issue then with our site.

Well spotted Ryan!! Have given myself a good thrashing, blimey what a typo! At least a nice quick fix, so hopefully should have a lot less errors showing! Many thanks for the assistance
