Is creating great content not important for Local seo?
Good quality content is always important no matter what you are targeting when it comes to SEO. Remember - great content + exposure = links More links leads to an increase in search engine ranking, but remember when link building always go for quality over quantity (don't lose site of this and go for any spammy low quality link). Links essentially show search engines that people place value on that website or webpage as an information source for browsers, this applies to and is important for any type of business when it comes to search engine ranking. The more decent quality links you have the more weight your site has in the eyes of the search engines! Max has put forward some good suggestions in relation to a blog and what value can be gained from it for your friend's site. Does my actual blog post title have any effect once I create a title tag for SEO purposes?
I agree Ben there is an art to creating catchy blog titles. Its extremely important to craft a unique, attention-grabbing title to get readers to click- through to the blog posting. A good title is the key to enticing more readers! Viewers don’t have time to read every blog post if they’re looking for content on something specific. They will want to know exactly what the content will tell them from the title. If the title doesn't have a promising deliverable, viewers will move onto a blog that does promise exactly what to expect in the content. Viewers aren't going to click on the posting unless they have already been hinted at how reading it will benefit them. I would suggest search for some useful tips to how to make the most of a blog title, try http://www.eyeflow.com/8-blog-titles-that-encourage-a-click-through/ and let me know if you are seeing any increases in traffic!

Are pages with lots of pictures with outbound links bad for seo?
Hey, I agree that the best option, as Francisco mentioned is to <nofollow>the outbound links in order to retain the pages authority and not send any fishy signals to Google. </nofollow> As far as the content issue goes, it could use a little bit better "text to code" ratio, but content doesn't always mean text. I'm also in branding and graphic design and found the post to be relevant and exactly as you described it.. 80 Creative Logos for your Inspiration There's 80 logos, and they inspired quite a few ideas as I scrolled down the page. So congratulations on pleasing your target demographic, which is exactly what you should be concentrating on. A couple of extra paragraphs below the images wouldn't hurt, and definitely nofollow the outbound links, but the first eight words of the post say it all... They say a picture speaks a thousand words... A little bit different version of the saying I'm familiar with but the post's content isn't an issue, just get the technical stuff right and you've got a winner. Now if you'll please excuse me while I check out a few more of those logos... Thanks, Anthony
