Alright, I believe The site-wide footer links are the problem. Despite being only 4 sites linking to us, they generate thousands of links... My question now will be how to proceed? I never received such a big penalty for literally 4 dammed image footer links. Should I start from a new domain ? Ask the webmasters to delete those links or no follow them ? use disavow tool? How much time should I spect for a recovery ? Thanks!

_From pure link building perspective, commenting on the same IP blogs may not be adding that much value to the link profile of your website. But do not take it this way. Blog commenting is more than just link building, it is about engagement and believe me when you are commenting on reputed sites that match the theme of your website, it can really drive real traffic to your website. So, please do not post thinks like this – “Great Post”, “Awesome mate, keep posting like” etc. You need to do post comment that adds value to the conversation. _
