Trying to duplicate Screaming Frog report
Hi Sam! Kristina from Moz's Help Team here. I'm sorry if I'm a bit confused by your questions here. I'm not familiar with a lot of terms outside of what our tools provide, so I may need some additional information from you before I'm able to fully assist here. Our Site Crawl that's available within a Campaign in the Moz Pro tool is going to crawl all pages of your site that it's able to find and crawl and return them within your full Site Crawl report. This report comes in the form of a CSV file. In this Site Crawl report, we will be providing you with information on the HTTP status of the page at the time we crawled it, additionally any other contributing factors that our crawler comes across that we've deemed as important in regards to the overall SEO of your site. Here are all of the factors our crawler considers and will point out for any of your pages if noted on that page: High Priority Issues: Crawl Attempt Errors Duplicate Page Content Title Missing or Empty 5XX Server Error 4XX Server Error Medium Priority Issues: Missing Meta Description Tag Title Element is Too Long Search Engine blocked by robots.txt Duplicate Page Title Title Element is Too Short Meta Refresh Temporary Redirect Low Priority Issues: Long URL In addition to the above issues we'll report back on, we'll also provide the Page Authority, Linking Root Domain Count, Internal and External Link Count if your pages have been included in our Mozscape Index. Additionally Anchor Text, URL Character Count, URL Dynamic Character Count, Title Character Count, Link Count, Redirect URL if one exists, Tag Value, Referrer (what page within your site did we locate a link to the current page we're reporting on), Rel Canonical Tag if one exists, Meta Description Tag, Duplicate Page Content and Duplicate Title if found. You can also check our Site Crawl Help guide on the Help Hub here, too: https://moz.com/help/guides/moz-pro-overview/crawl-diagnostics Does this perhaps get close to answering your question? If there's anything else I can assist with, please don't hesitate to let us know or email help@moz.com for directly messaging with my team here as well. Thank you! -Kristina

Need Professional Help with Site Structure, Page Authority, and Internal Linking
Hi Sam Wilhoit, Sorry to hear you have lost out rankings to a competitor. It is difficult to say with absolute certainty why they would outrank you all of the sudden without knowing who the competitor is and on what keywords this is occurring. Feel free to message me and I can take a quick look for you. In the mean time, did you change anything on your website recently, or even in the past 3 months? Sometimes a change, no matter how small, might have an adverse impact on your website and rankings. Has your competitor changed anything in at all on their site that you can tell in the last 1-3 months? Have you been tracking them with any tool in order to determine this?

Pages with near duplicate content
I would disagree that this does no harm. If you are targeting the keyword "Sony" for example, it loses relevancy the more you have it dispersed throughout your site with duplicate content. Matt Cutts has a great video here, http://searchengineland.com/googles-matt-cutts-duplicate-content-wont-hurt-you-unless-it-is-spammy-167459 where he discusses this. If any of those duplicate pages have keywords, you are losing ranking opportunities. Have you thought about adding a reviews system to those pages? That helped me a lot with all of the parts and accessories I have on my site. I also started putting them on the main pages to build some prioritization. For example: My Generator Page: Includes the Generator, then displays the accessory and parts pages. I allow my users to add them to the cart from this page in order to focus the traffic in one location. This has helped my main pages and and my accessory pages. I added reviews to the parts pages and then helpful tidbits of information where I could. Such as maintenance schedules, how to articles and any other topic I could think of that would be helpful to someone looking for those parts and accessories.

E-commerce Adding New Content - Blog vs New Page
Thanks Kate - I originally created the seperate blog so that it could develop into a brand of its own. But now the main ecomm site is getting stale and it is the revenue generator. We have articles and static pages on the site, but I am curious if going with a blog on the site would provide any additional benefits as opposed to continuing to add articles as static pages. We are on an x-cart platform - would you go with a Wordpress add on? Thanks, SAM

SEOMoz Crawler and rel_canonical_tag Errors
Have a canonical tag on your pages, regardless of whether or not you have the same page in other places, will not harm you. (It would only harm you if you had it on two duplicate pages saying that both were the canonical version.) I'd check your site for similar or thin content, which is another thing Panda hit. Yes, you may not have direct duplicates, but if your content on the category and product pages are either thin or very similar to each other, you can still get hit. I'd suggest reading this post, which is basically everything you need to know about Panda.
