You can honestly go with either, in my opinion. But how are you going to differentiate yourself from all of the other services? What if you partner with a food delivery service.. pizza... kebabs... whatever, and have something ready at or near the time of arrival. I'm thinking about the bar crowd. What do you think? That's a bit of differentiation in my book.

Right now, the health.moz.com site is the easiest way for us to notify people of problems like this, as it is a tumblr site that several people at Moz have access to and can be easily updated. Putting a message in the Moz app itself is a bit more complicated process, and involves changing code. We do try to put messages there when it's a longer outage, but it's not something that we can just put in in 30 seconds in the middle of the night (like we can with health.moz.com).

@Claudio and Chris, thank you. Claudio, yes you've cleared it up for me. Although I was going into the second option for search volume, I wasn't for some stupid reason clicking on the keywords to separate them from the groups to get results for each keywords. That's the bit that was frustrating me. Your response made me look further. So thank you. It's helped me make a decision on a domain.

Hi Ryan, I'm pretty sure that SEM Rush does provide historical data, you just need to purchase the GURU or higher plan in order to gain access to this. You're right about Compete - and it is only limited to the US.
