Webmaster Tools and Domain registration
Webmaster tools will only be interested in the domain that actually hosts the site, others you own but do not actually have associated pages, would not need to be registered.

Wordpress Hatom problem
What usually happens with these sorts of warnings is that WordPress likes to strip out micro-format data. Without seeing the site or knowing what you're trying to accomplish, I can't very well help you diagnose the problem. Ultimately you'll want to look through the microformats syntax and see what your code is lacking. You may need to modify the theme (e.g. the div around the author) or use a plugin to help with author hCards. If author info is all you care about, it's generally enough to add the proper tags and links to the author bio on the post. I've never used any plugins for microformats.org, but there are plenty: http://wordpress.org/plugins/tags/hcard Are you tied to microformats.org? I've successfully used http://wordpress.org/plugins/all-in-one-schemaorg-rich-snippets/ for schema.org snippets.

Best practice for Landing page in Wordpress
Perhaps laziness. Perhaps it's just someone who came up with a good solution that worked for themselves and then wanted to make money off of selling it to others

Recommendation for Geotheme or other directory plugins / themes
Just to let you know...I can not recommend that theme. I have purchased and tested it. For a quick install of a directory it is not bad but the customization is really a no go. I prefer WP Types+Views+CRED now for a directory. It is a little bit of work to set it up but it works afterwards perfectly.

Localization without proper address?
Hi Miriam, to get a grey pin you only need to mark a place somewhere in the world on google maps. Example: I have a hotel website for a hotel on a river in Nicaragua. The next village is 20 miles away. But still google localized the place and I can put a mobile phone number with it. Or another hotel is located at a deserted beach. I put the marker on the position and describe the position in the address fields as good as possible (e.g. Street name: Playa del Sol, City: Islandname, Zipcode: a random figure). In my specific case we talk about the listing for "Hotel Little Corn Island" and "hotel bellavista corn island". Thanks for help...

Hotel website domain
Hi Donford, no, no, no - I find your answers very helpful. Thanks for that. We are in a discussion. Maybe other people have also ideas, which way might the best for a Hotel in a remote area without addresses! My competitors are branding but with less success agains the non-branded pages with local name in the address. I was now considering to use subdomains like: "hotelname.location.com". Might this be an idea to mix both ways? And before I forget: There is another problem. The branding itself with the name of the hotel. The name is already 10 letters long and it is not valid anymore on domain search. Need to be very creative today to solve this
