What is the best practice way to attribute a Google Review?
I have the same question. I'm trying to use an excerpt from a longer review, and don't want to use the full quote (too long). I'm curious if a hyperlink to the review would remove any penalty for duplicate content. However, you can embed google reviews directly to your site. I use this wordpress plug-in to do so on mine (https://wordpress.org/plugins/g-business-reviews-rating/).

Will adding schema markup to copied Google reviews show up in organic search?
Hey There, There may be some problems with cross posting Google reviews on your own website, but it's a matter of discussion. Good thoughts on this here: http://www.localvisibilitysystem.com/2013/04/04/the-complete-guide-to-google-pluslocal-reviews-and-especially-how-to-get-them/ When Google+ was a viable option for local businesses, there was a technique you could use to embed posts featuring Google reviews within your website without fear of duplicate content filters, but given that Google+ has now gone the way of the dodo bird, I'm not sure what has happened to website that were doing this.

Google+ for Business Links Section - Not Available
Hi Perfect Pitch Concepts, I'm so sorry your question hasn't received a reply. Looks like no one may have noticed this about Google+ Local vs Brand pages. You're supposed to be able to link out from the description with rich text, but my understanding is that it can take longer to get verified if you do. Now, with the launch of the new Google My Buisiness, who knows! Google is definitely narrowing the gap between Local and Social page types, so I expect all kinds of changes to be going on with things just like this.

Best way to help a city-centric service provider market in new nearby territories?
Hi Perfect Pitch Concepts, Bede has pretty much said it all in his awesome response! I'll only add, as you build out those new pages on your website, make maximum effort to make them totally unique and helpful to the user. Don't take the shortcut of publishing duplicate or thin pages. Find great things to write about regarding your client's involvement in his new service areas.

SEO downsides to minimalist (copy-light) homepage?
Hi, There isn't a lot negative about a minimalist homepage other than you missing out on an opportunity to attract more organic search traffic. There are lots of companies that seem to be adopting a minimalist home page look these days --- but personally, I am all in favour of more content than less on the home page. EGOL has listed reasons why you'd do better with more content and I agree with him.

SSL sites and SEO
I'm not sure there's anything else to be worried about. Matt Cutts made a video and it's pretty short on the matter.
