It is my personal experience with link building that links now take a couple of months before they help you with rankings. Back in the days we used to see instant movement, now it seems that Google wants to see the link is sticking before assigning credit to it. Probably done to deter spammers and give website owners a chance to remove the spam links and also to deter or frustrate link builders in general. Hopefully the link brings you some traffic or brand awareness, don't expect it to really help in your rankings though.
