my rankings updated the next day but I'm guessing it need a full update after the bug fix.... will know next week

to add to what Dean said, think about how that title looks in the SURPs,  what would improve its click rate?

I would seriously doubt that it would do any damage.  If it could damage your site then loads of people with use it for neg seo (which is not happening)   I wouldn't worry about it.

this is the right place to ask about this, you would get a better responce on the magento forums or you could look something like freelancer or pph and find an magento expert with a good review history.

Do you have a backup of your data base?  if so you should be able to restore it, if not, check if your host company has a back up.

I agree with lesley, make a short list of which platforms your are looking at, make a list of what you want, then see which ones check the most boxes.  Might be worth visiting the forums of each and asking questions there.

I would add some hosts have 1 click installs for some open source e-commerce and then auto upgrades.  That could make your live easier as it sounds to me you only want a simple e-commerce system so pretty much any opensource system will do the job for you.

Most systems support paypal by default, but paypal rates are not the best, but if your not selling much then they are still the best option as proper payment gateways have monthly costs, so only make sense if your doing decent numbers (and they can take some work to get setup).

Since apple's products don't support flash you are losing a big chunk of the public from the start.  With Html 5, flash is on its way out but alot of people/ places still use it.  BUT I wouldn't develop anything in flash in this space year 2014!

First you want to decide if you want open-source vs a closed platform.  As a general rule open source need more work and at least some technical knowledge, but there are cheap/free and you have complete freedom with them.  Closed platforms are generally easier to setup and easier to maintain but are more expensive (up front costs at least) and because its closed you have little freedom ( at the mercy of the company the develops it)

Note that is a very general rule and every platform is different and there is always the argument (normally put forward from closed platforms) that open source is can be  expensive in the long term because the costs of upgrading/maintaining it, espically if you our sourcing that work out.

I have used Zen-cart alot. big bonus is its free, its got a nice community (but not huge) and its a decent platform, but can require a bit of work to get it the way you want. big negative is that it can't do stock control for products with options eg you have a shirt that comes in an option of red or black, it just tracks the shirt stock not the amounts of red and black shirts.  If you are not using it for stock control then its not an issue (as I believe they are working on a fix for this) .   Over all Zen-cart is a good start if you have a low budget.

Starting to use Magneto, and even though its also "open source" it frees alot more commercial than zen-cart, but has a far bigger community and tons of extensions.  It still need a bit of work to get setup but it alot more flexible than zencart and has more 3rd party modules. There is a reason its the biggest E-commerce system in the world.

Never used Open-cart, but I did look into it and it looks nice ( but a know of a competitor that moved from open-cart to magento enterprise)

Another one I looked at is visualsoft, people that I know use it are happy with it as is easy to use and because it a closed platform you don't have to worry about alot of the technical stuff.  The basic price for it is ok, but they really  get you with the addon and can soon add up on price (that and you don't have the freedom of opensource is the reason I did not go with them)

I'm sure there are more platforms that are just as good if not better that the ones above, but I can only tell you about the ones I have experience with 

With a follow link the link juice on that page would get recycled (depreciated of course)  thought out the site via site Nav. If the link is nofollowed then all that link juice is lost.  Am I missing something?

As Dean says, we can't see that link, but I would say that having a bigger PA/DA does not mean you will rank better.  PA/DA do not take into account the quality of the pages that are linking to you (bar their own PA/DA), so you could have a very high PA/DA but its mostly junk links.  Also their on site seo could be better for that keyword or they have some match text anchor links for that keyword.  There are also a load of other factors.

I always thought that nofollowing internal links is a bad idea as it just throwing link juice out the window. Why would Yoast recommend to do this?  To me they are suggesting link sculpting via nofollowing but that has not worked since 2009!

Yeah it is weird they don't support that.  As you say its easy to fake, and many did.  There used to be more rich snippets in Surps but google has gotten stricter with them.

I also don't think the TrustPilot widgets have Schema markup in them.

If you look at the code you will see ( I have bolded the schema):

Might be possible to draw the reviews from trustpilot and then display them with the schema markup. Could be a bit of work and then there is still no guarantee that google will show in the surps.

Might be worth checking the surps to see if anyone else is showing reviews and then check is anyone has tried to setup schema on their page but its not showing.

Reviews you see in organic surps are only taken from schema markup (like tom said).  All you can do is markup properly but there is no guarantee that they will show.

With adwords, once you get over the 30 review within a year mark you your reviews should show  ( btw it takes a few weeks  google see the 30 reviews and then index and then show).  Our reviews were not showing even though we meet the standards, but after contact google it turns out it was just a technical issue on their end.

I think there is a good chance that you getting a Bot crawling your site and thats were most of you high bounce rate is coming from.  As Bas said try and narrow down where the us traffic is coming from.

I have had problems with bingads bot giving me huge bounce rates, but it was easy to spot as they all come from one town in the US same browser, 100% bounce rate.

The flag in the toolbar is based on where the site is hosted (as you guessed).  Where the site is hosted can* be a factor but really a very small one ( I have a site targeted at N.Ireland that's on cheap US hosting and it ranks fine for brand name).  Have you setup Geographic target in WMTs?

*Edit: some say its not a factor at all, but at best is a very small factor

This is not always the case, I have notice that alot of zencart sites show like this in the surps, but there in nothing in the source code passing this info ( no rich snippets, no info in the meta tags).  Even when the meta descriptions are done manually, it does not remove it.

Zencart show eg "Displaying 1 to 40 (of 90 products)" on product pages but this is not tagged in anyway, just sitting in the Div.  But in the surps google shows "Products 1 - 40 of 90" so it is not just copying the text on the page, but understanding it and reinterpreting it.

But I think EGOL is making the point, why do you want remove it?  it makes you page stand out of the listings.
