Hi Martijn.....I have blocked in robots.txt as you have suggested and have fetched as google bot on the soft 404.s and they are blocked. Can i go ahead and mark these as fixed or are they really only fixed if these pages return 404? I am not sure how i can return 404 on them though as they are legit search result pages. I really just want to know the best way to deal with them in wmt now that i have blocked them in robots. thank you

Thanks for that MoosaHemani appreciate the input. We are not concerned about the updates as the two platforms will be "very different" with regards to overall widgets and portals. My main concern is that the two WordPress installs can run without issue on the same domain. Appreciate it!

Hi! I would definitely link to Google+ from your website. It just has so many benefits for SEO, that having that connection won't hurt. It doesn't need to be super prominent if the majority of your community is on FB and Twitter. But I don't think it will hurt anything by having it there. Plus, you may find that you actually do have a community on G+. I also agree with bjgomer13 that everyone you ask will probably say something different.

Stumbled upon some additional information and decided to update you... According to the internationalization FAQ... Q: <a name="q5"></a>Can I use automated translations? A: Yes, but they must be blocked from indexing with the “noindex” robots meta tag. We consider automated translations to be auto-generated content, so allowing them to be indexed would be a violation of our Webmaster Guidelines. So if you decide to autotranslate the text, you should use a noindex tag instead of the hreflang tag.

Hi Regal..thanks and agreed...I am getting good signals from sharing and likes..so am winning there...I think I am just going to quit with the comments and focus on that on the facebook page...as that is really where the bulk is  happening....I appreciate the input..thank you cheers
