As far as the categories is the widget that's faulty. I used a couple of other widgets and they supplied the correct URL when a cat. was clicked but as I'm cleaning up "too many links on page" I would still need a dropdown widget for this purpose but don't see one out their yet or I simply haven't located it. Too many categories to apply to the top nav bar. UPDATE: It came down to applying noindex features in All In One SEO for Wordpress for categories, tags and tax archives. This will eliminate multiple URLs for the same content.
