@Don - I mentioned that you didn't say how many links you had but you did say you had a problem of too many on-page links. There wasn't much detail about the links, hence the question about where you were getting the data from and Andrew's question too. Perhaps should have left off the "the numbers you mention aren't that high"  - it was reference to the numbers of websites you mentioned and the thought that there wouldn't be that many links from just one page to your other sites.

Hello Don, I saw the title="follow us on Facebook" tag within the code of a rel publisher link on one of those sites. I don't remember which though. Just open source view, search for rel="publisher" and double check the href title attributes on each site. I could be wrong, but am pretty sure I saw it that way.

An interesting aspect of Disqus is you can monetize it. In addition, it provides a short list of topics from your site and "around the web" below the comments. I have received traffic from Disqus to my variety of sites and some has earned a few pennies. It's the traffic that interests me.
