If you have a budget for paid search and dont care about it ranking organically - sure However, not everyone will go for paid search ads. As for link juice - just add dofollow links to individuals.nl on non-canonicalized home page and that will transfer pretty much all the juice.

Schema for Banks and SEO
Hi there Here are a couple of great links: 2015 Local Search Ranking Factors How to Perform the Ultimate Local SEO Audit Both of those will help you immensely. I would definitely markup branches and also take a look at Moz Local's bulk upload that will help you load all of your branch addresses to local listing aggregators. From there, you can manage your listings and update/remove them as needed. I would review the above links and start focusing on your local SEO efforts. But I would still markup as much as you can that's relevant to the business and searches that are happening around it's industry/area. Hope this helps! Good luck!

Can an AJAX framework (using HTML5 + pushstate) on your site impact your ranking?
Long story short - YES. Any JS framework can impact your ranking. I share again here link on Distilled how they using custom service to providing pure HTML version of site to bots only: https://www.distilled.net/resources/prerender-and-you-a-case-study-in-ajax-crawlability/ And seems that experiment works very well on them.

Mixing 'rel canonical' and 'rel alternate'
I know they no longer recommend it (for simplification reasons, I believe) but our system automatically adds the canonical tags to pages (we manually add alternate tags for translated pages) and we have not seen any backlash from having the canonical tags in place. That isn't to say we may not change how our system handles these tags in the future but for now I simply think that Google is saying you can take it or leave it on translated pages. It may be overkill but it isn't hurting anything.
