Do you need contact details (NAP) on every page of your website for local search ranking ?
Hey Mike! You've received great feedback from the community here (nice job, everybody!). While it's not a requirement to have complete NAP on every page, it is a best practice. I see these 3 options open to you: Convince the client to go with a more normal layout. If you can, put complete NAP in the footer. If no dice on that, put it in the masthead. And if that won't work, you could certainly put it at the bottom of the main body of the pages, incorporating it into your call to action. Hope this helps!

“XXX Close” and “XXX Cl” showing up as inconsistencies of the same address in Moz Local checker
Thanks @David Lee & @Matt Roney I agree that the address should be the same across all services, but its not possible when an address has the word "Close" in it as some providers will shorten this in the listing to "Cl" (although you've inputted close when filling out the form) this is just the way they chose to format it. Have a look at any address with the word "Close" in it in the moz local tool.

Can minifying the html of page have a negative effect on seo?
Hi Mike, You need to look at this 2 ways. 1. From the machine perspective. From the google bots point of view, comments, white space and formatting etc are redundant, they don't make the content easier to read as its only interested in the code itself that gives it information. The minifying effect simply makes less data to read/download making the site faster. From an SEO point of view this is a advantage. 2. From a developers point of view. From a developer point if view, having the html legible is important for all the obvious reasons. Minimising makes the code horrific to edit and develop. SEO wise this confers little advantage, as making is this way increases the size of the document. The solution. Maintain 2 versions of the files. A development copy which is nicely formatted and easy to develop and a minimised version that you recreate whenever you make changes. There are countless tools that will auto minimise your html, css and javascript quickly and easily for you. If you are using a CMS such as wordpress / magento etc then this is less likely to be something you can address, however, i do believe add-ons and plugins exist that do this for you automatically.

Does business name capitalisation count when making sure you have the same NAP across all directories ?
I agree with Eric. Go with Abc Cars, abc Cars, or abc cars (no spaces).

Can you compare social profiles (FB, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin) for sites - in a similar way you can compare sites using OSE
Hi Eric, I think we've got our paths crossed slightly, i was talking about getting get the social follows, followers and posts count for each social profile associated with a domain. eg if you where comparing ford and bmw you would see : ford twitter : 100 followers, 20 following, 5 posts bmw twitter : 200 followers, 100 following, 20 posts ford facebook : 100 likes bmw facebook : 10 likes
