wait a minute. this Moz posts suggests keeping you links absolute is "a priority" , from a seo perspective.

same problem for me.

I am working with https and cloudflare.

what if I disable cloudflare just for the crawl test? would it work? how could I disable it temporarily?

I recently upgraded to https.

Of course most internal links of my old posts are still http.

So I set up a 301 redirect in order to make the old link works.

In terms od SEO this is good or it is better to update all the internal links to https, manually?

In that case can I do it in batch with a search/replace command in the phmyadmin database?

any other suggested method?

reading my spam analysis report from open explorer, I found somenthing I don't understand (please see attached image):

The long list of links inside the red rectangle are inbound links with a spam score of 5 coming from my same site.

How is that possible? Should I remove those links?

Also , I see that many of those links are links present in the top navigation bar (about page, home page, service description etc.) or in the sidebar section of the website (categories, recent posts, recent comments).

Should I treat them differently?

Apparently this links is mildly spammy (spam score of 1).

What should I do with such links? Remove them?

Hallo,

Spam analysis is suggesting that my website may have a spam problem (score is 5).

When I analyse the single spam links, I am puzzled.

1. the links to my site are actually links in disqus comments I wrote myself on the linking site, in order to aswer REAL question of real people giving them honest and useful answers (and linking my site :-), like the link pointed out in the attached image, also pasted herebelow:

Most links have this same nature.

Has this behaviour (which I consider natural, in good faith) been regarded as spammy?

Should avoid linking my site in the comments I write on external sites?

2. the links from comunicatistampagratis.it  (towards the end of the list) are from a free press release website: you send them the press release, they publish it.

Should I avoid using this free press release site? Should I avoid using any free press release site at all (since they are regarded as spammy)?

3. is there a rule to learn (since apparently I have not been very good so far at using my good faith to separate good links from spammy links) whether a link can be spammy and therefore try and avoid it?
