Document structure (Headings)
Best practice is that every page has one H1 header followed by a series of H2 and H3 headers. And, where possible these headings should be in a hierarchical order within the source code. I'd approach it like this: 'course name' + Course 6 weeks learning 'secondary keyword targets') So it would look something like this... Veterinary Nurse Course 6 weeks learning about animal care & pet health

Redirecting 404
Hi, First of all if your non-existing site results are being displayed in search results(say Google) then you can either demote the sitelinks by going in to the Google Webmasters Tool(go to Configuration -->> Sitelinks)and submit it. Or, if in your case, it has some links pointing towards it then you can use a 301 redirect and redirect it to your customised 404 page which should could contain navigational options so the users do not leave the given site. The Web Optimized 404 pages should contain: notification that the user has reached a page that does not exist a search box a easy to understand navigation system so the user can potentially find what they were orginally looking to access a link to the home page If you want to know more, you can check this link on HTTP Status code and see what's best for you http://www.seomoz.org/learn-seo/http-status-codes Hope this helps you. Cheers!

Should i remove sitemap from the mainsite at a webshop (footer link) and only submit .XML in Webmaster tools?
Hi Mickel - The answer is both. Keep your html sitemap, and keep the link in the footer as is. Crawlers will look at these but they are generally more for human visits. Then create your xml sitemap (www.url.com/sitemap.xml) and verify it in Google Webmaster Tools. Hope this helps!

Most common SEO issues with Magento
One of the most common SEO issues with Magento is dynamic filter pages being indexed by search engines. These filter pages are ultimately duplicate versions of category pages (with different products) with a dynamic query string attached to the end of the URL. We've created a Magento SEO plugin which can help eliminate this issue, but I'll talk about this in more detail later on in the post.
