Hi Menelik, The explanation is that we are separate from Google, and have our own servers and crawlers. Our server farm isn't nearly as big as Google's, and doesn't crawl as fast. Open Site Explorer updates about once a month, and won't show you all of the links you see in GWT. However, we do add more information than you will see in Google with regards to metrics, and you can see link profiles of other sites that you do not own and have not verified in GWT.
