Anchor Text vs Rankings!
The same holds true for order of keywords as for plural and varients. You will rank for all, but highest for the actual. Image the text in a website "you can phone mobile mechanics day and night" and on another website "mobile phone deals" should they rank as high for each phrase? no, i dont think they should

Links with very bad anchor text!
You're welcome You're right there, those links most likely won't be passing on any link juice or benefit . They could potentially be harmful though as there are not any high quality good links pointing in, though there's also the chance that they won't have any negative effect. Cannot know either way with 100% certainty, just can be sure that some high quality relevant authoritive links will help for sure. Sounds like you're doing things in the right order; getting your website in shape by addressing the on-site issues that you mention, with focusing on the link building once that is sorted out. Hope it all works out well, Simon

It sounds like a site wide link, so I imagine its not in the main content, where the value is

Keyword Canibalization!
@ Robert - The keyword density os ok for that page. I've seen many sites that have lots of pages linking to itself and a link in header or in footer with the most important kw on all internal pages. I know that it will not boost your rankings but it is easier to place an internal link with the anchor text desired. @SeoShark - The link is placed in footer and yes, without that link and term i am happy with the density.

It is ok to link together multiple domains on the same ip?
Thank you all for the answers! I want to give you more details about the sites/domains. All of them have original content, but the majority are small sites, less than 10 pages and these ones to not provide such value to users. The sites are about wine, some sites offer information about all types of wine, other provide information about places to visit and buy, see, try wine, one is a portal and one or two are about wine cellars. I know Goole knows that all domains are mine. I think reasonable and if a user comes to a site, why isn't ok to drive him on other site to find some other information? So you, as an user land on a page, and from that page i can drive you to my main site, which is an online shop that sells all types of wine. If i let the links dofollow between sites/domains, it can be interpreted as a manipulative tactic for increasing the PR, but users will find other informations about that big subject - wine. I know that Google disagree this tactic if your domains are not related and they are more than 2-3, maybe more, but ther information found on all sites is about the same thing, and they are so related. I will wait more answers and points of view from you, guys!
