HI  loevgaard, Solar panels are green and creating content should not be too challenging. The challenge is finding the right social media outlets or industry leading editors to help get your content visibility. IMO if your content will educate, entertain, or guide a user it is not enough. I would use followerwonk to find real people that are in this niche, talking about it and getting social interaction. Network with them, earn their trust by reading and innovating. Once you network with the industry gurus you will be able to create the content they will want to share, or better yet link to off of your blog Hope this helps.
