Indexing product attributes in sitemap
Hello Localwork, By "product attributes" do you mean URLs associated with product variants, like color and size? From the context of your question, I'll assume for now you mean that each product attribute / variant appears on it's own URL (e.g. /?color=red and /?color=blue) and you want to know whether these should be included in the sitemap. As Andy mentions below, more information is needed before prescribing a best practice specifically to your situation. However, in this case you should probably only have the one "canonical" version of the product URL (e.g. without variants). There are many ways to handle this and I recommend Googling "SEO for product variants" to familiarize yourself with the pros and cons of each. To answer your question about sitemap segmentation, yes it is a good thing to do for several reasons, most important of which is easier diagnoses of crawl issues, such as which "sections" of your sites have indexation problems. It also helps on large sites with issues reaching URL limits in sitemaps, and is a more logical tree-like structure for people and machines to follow than having every URL in one sitemap.

Cleaning up citations from a retail store that moved online only
Sorry I misread your issue. Since you are online only I would not claim any local listings. I would clean up and remove all those citations if possible though.

Could you double check my new product markups?
Great, thank you both! Good idea Casey. I tried to make it super hard on myself and looked up a markup from BestBuy, I'll try a competitor.

Is my content strategy focusing on the best vertical?
You could add some more yard/garden-related stuff, especially if you can feature sculptures or metal art similar to what your client is selling, (bonus points if a product she sells is actually used in a garden). If you start now-ish, it's even seasonal!

Are these Magento security concerns urgent?
Hi localwork! If Ryan answered your question, would you mind marking his response as a "Good Answer?" It'll get him some bonus MozPoints, and it helps us keep track of things.

Am I using pagination markups correctly?
Here is the view all page I created. Each of the anchor text links will take you into each paginated page (6 in total). All 6 of these pages have a canonical tag back to view all page. Did I set that up correctly? Thanks for your insight!

Creating SEO Time Management Strategy
'20 campaigns for 1 person, I can't believe that's a good thing.' I feel the same way. I am hoping in the future to move away from monthly projects towards more one-off campaigns/services, but nevertheless this is the job I've been given. That is why I am trying to squeeze the most out of my time and find a process where I can be strategic and focus on/prioritize for x,y, and z. Automating my reporting seems like the most obvious place to begin but can you believe I have yet to even start there. I'm making it a priority for Monday, done! I was hoping someone would have a monthly maintenance schedule/guideline they use and would like to share. Like Xhrs Analyzing/Reporting Xhrs Fixing Technical Issues Xhrs Link Building Xhrs Content/Blogging, etc..

The chicken community needs your helpful ideas
Currently the forum is holding the top 2 positions. Awesome point to make that they will only give rankings to one or two spots, and that creating a new thread might replace one of those positions. As a follow up, I've reached out to the forum to discuss sponsorship opportunities. We have already positively responded to the negative thread so the only opportunity now is to move forward and create a more positive presence within the forum. I've thought about creating a thread for exact match 'xyz reviews' and within that forum letting the community give their feedback on the product and how it might be improved in the future. Then create that content piece you guys have mentioned on how we can improve. Maybe taking the Buffer transparency rule here and creating content that says along the lines of here's how we failed you and how that has made us better.
