Hi Ricarda, We have numerous sites hosted on DNN and have been able to implement both canonical tags in the header and 301 redirects fairly easily. I'd recommend your developer consults DNN for support if the are having difficulty.

Thanks so much, John. I appreciate your prompt and thorough response. I guess I need to check why the redirects are not working the way they are supposed to. However, Google Webmaster does seem to see them because they do not flag duplicate titles etc. I am not sure what you mean with the comment on the active class. Would you mind explaining that? Thanks!
