but how would google know if its a eBay transaction or not because when we import it - it gets it's own order id when we import. hmm. We're not going PPC at the moment but we may want to in the near feature to be honest. We do have 200+ orders a month.. most months. Like everyone we do have a slow season. Do you know if you can have two conversion pages? Do they track the entire funnel i.e. cart/shipping/billing/confirm order/order complete or can I skip the funnel to email: "confirm shipping address" kind of thing -> order complete? And maybe its worth it just for the badge that we're a trusted store. Maybe it will increase conversions..

Thanks Josheph, I'm glad you liked it. Have you looked into Google Site Search? http://www.google.com/enterprise/search/products/gss.html You can test out the search on your site from that URL. If your blog is on a subdomain you have to test http://yourdomain.com instead of http://www.yourdomain.com. I think Endeca allows you to do this, but you should make sure they show you some live examples first. I looked for one but didn't find it. Whatever Crutchfield is doing seems to work, though it's not exactly what you're asking for. If you use the search field from the Research tab you get content. EXACTLY what I was looking for.

Well, I have client account examined here on MOZ. He's got huge duplicated content and it definitely sounds to me like it is duplicating the content from the site to Ebay. I'll post back about that, but definitly something to consider. I guess if Google has to choose beetween a site and Ebay... it is going to be tough to fight for SERPS against Ebay.

I have also had some great success via the University avenue.  Not only for writters......... Great points!
