I saw with your link example http://foodys.eu/ that they have alot of sitewide sidebar links. This is a big red flag. Sitewide sidebar links are one of the easiest ways to get a penalty, as the links are unnatural, even if it is a good site (i.e. one link is great, but sitewide links bad).
Any decent sites that have these sort of links and which are giving decent traffic you should get the rel="nofollow" tag added. Of course this is dependent on the webmaster dealing with your request.
You can run speed tests on the preview, however this really won't show the whole picture.
Check the source code and see how much javascript is being loaded on each page. There are some themes that load "alot". Ask the creators to see if some javascript can be disabled (i.e. slider javascript that you won't need). An example of this is the Avada theme.
You then of course, can install caching, cloudflare etc on top of this. You can even edit the code to remove things you don't need. So ultimate it is hard to give a definitive answer, but check the comments on the themes. Many people post links to the site they develop you can check up on.
Another tip is to avoid very new themes. My experience is that it can take a few updates to get rid of the bugs. More sales, can mean the theme is supported more etc.
But ultimately, ask questions of the theme creator before buying.

If they are linking back to you I wouldn't worry. This will give a signal to Google that yours is the original.
I would highly recommend Wordpress. Whilst typically it has been recognised as less powerful than the other platforms like Drupal (and indeed for for complicated websites this remains), there are alot of web designers out there making some extremely powerful feature rich themes which can make some excellent websites for businesses.
The benefit of WordPress, is that it is much more easy to customise, has a much better array of pre-made themes (see themeforest.net for example), and has lot more plugins available to add feature rich functionality.
As someone who learnt the trade using Drupal, and went over to WordPress I would recommend any small business looking for a website to use WordPress.
My campaigns are showing now, but will take 24 hours or so to populate with data. Just got to wait a bit longer.
I would say it is unnatural, and therefore any links you have should be no-followed.
That is actually quite interesting. I tested it against a few brand names, and whilst facebook and twitter are ranked highly, I don't see the google+ pages.
However, I do like Google+ better for providing social signals \ interactivity via the Communities than facebook (although I don't have any metrics to say whether it is better or not).
I had the same problem. It showed after a few hours, and now I have to wait 24 hours or so to populate with data.
Checking Ahrefs it is clear they have been hit by a penalty. They have over 700 exact match anchors for "man with a van" for example from just 30 domains, which makes up 67% of their backlinks!
I too am not sure if it completely fits, but I use tweetadder.com
I am assuming you want to put in the "@name" at the beginning of each tweet. Tweetadder will let you import a list of tweets, and then it will tweet this out at a schedule (times \ intervals etc). Its also a one off fee.
I use Tweetadder to auto retweet, find followers (relevant), set scheduled tweets, manage followers etc. It is very good.
I use another web based tracker that checks the rankings daily. I guess I will find out tomorrow, and will update this thread then. I am not sure they use an API though. TBH I didn't realise they used Api's for this.
I have to say on my first quick look I cannot determine why you would have got a manual penalty. Your link profile does not look spammy, and I wonder if google are specifically targeting sites that use PRweb.
With Ahref's I only see 77 dofollow backlinks, and to be honest you could probably be very brutal when it comes to dissavowing these links and starting again.
It is strange that the two methods of link building (prweb, and infographics) are two methods that Matt Cutts has recently (in the last few months) said that should be nofollow links.
But I cannot give anything definitive based on what I am seeing.
Having a look at your backlink profile, you lost alot of links around that time, but not referring domains. I wonder if you deleted a sitewide backlink somehow. These can give boosts of rankings for a few weeks, but will most likely give you a penalty at some point.
You have quite a few other sitewide backlinks, but they are not that bad (33-40 links each) except pcdynamiceng.com which has 162 according to ahrefs..
I have see alot worse though, so cannot say if this is your problem.
Another thing is the time of year... at the end of the summer people may not look for as many holidays etc. Have you got metrics going back to last year to compare?. This may not be relevant, but new sites get a nice boost for the first month or so as Google tries to ascertain whether they are popular \ useful etc. It could be that this boost has simply faded away (I notice the site has copyright 2013).
All I would recommend at this time, is focus on good quality content and spread that around on your social channels etc. I would also review all sitewide backlinks, and try to replace those with relevant homepage backlink or editorial backlink.
No problems at my end, but I think the ranking service I use is crawler based.
Whilst I have never used them, it looks like they are selling a service, not hosting. It therefore stands to reason that if you cancel their service you lose your mobile site.
Had a look for their terms and conditions and they do not mention anything about hosting, but refer to services:
"We provide various mobile website solutions for our customers, including but not limited to: our Site, mobile website conversion, mobile website creation, and mobile advertising solutions (collectively, the “Services”).. You may use the Services for your personal and business use or for internal business purpose in the organization that you represent, as long as you are in compliance with all provisions of this Agreement."
It is a little unclear, but it is easy to argue it in their favor based on that wording. Sucks for you though. But hey, you own the domain, so speak to a web developer before you cancel so they can see what you have and get you a new mobile site up an running. Or, get them to make you a responsive web design which I personally think are better anyway.
Having checked your link profile it is very spammy. 25% of your backlinks are for the term "speed dating", 9% for "singles holidays", and thats just a start.
But that is not all. You have alot of domains sending many links back to your site for the same keyword. Sitewide links can cause penalties, and will need to be cleaned up.
I recommend using ahrefs \ majestic to find those links and dissavow \ get them to change to no follow etc.
