Same pdf attachments placed on more websites good for seo?
Hey Jozef You know, I have not come across this issue with PDF's causing problems as duplicates but ultimately, a duplicate is a duplicate and if you want to republish this content then it would be worth examining the reasons for doing so. Is this purely, as you say, to give access to a special offer and is something purely to benefit your users and not in any way for driving more search traffic? If so, I would just create a folder for these pdfs and block that in robots.txt. If your folder was simply called pdfs/ we would need something along the lines of: User-agent: * Disallow: /pdfs/ This way you can use these PDFs and make them available without ever having to worry about them causing any kind of duplication issue. Additionally, PDFs do sometimes get indexed and can make pretty poor landing pages, especially if they have the branding of another company and no navigation to get into your site so again, this is a good thing. If you are looking to use these to generate more exposure then create a unique landing page, add the link to the PDF but ensure the PDF is blocked in robots.txt. You can also issue meta no index (REP tags) via your webserver in the HTTP header to block out specific files or file types but I would imagine the simple robots.txt and a directory solution is a perfectly suitable and easier to implement solution in this case. Hope that helps! Marcus

How google handle with Title when is invisible on the page?
H1 is the main tag, don't use it more than once. Use the H2 tag for subcategory info. Don't worry about bold or italic and order is not really important for the h2, h3 tags. I would just try and get the main keyword in the H1 tag as high up in the page code as possible, and i would try to leave other code out of the H1 tag like hyperlinks or styling code, just the main keyword phrase.

Will Google penalize my website if I hide the H1 tag?
Thank You Irving and Ricky ! My WordPress Premium Theme has inside an article - shows the title as H1 and if we add the h2 tag it will show in the SEOMoz plugin. But in the homepage My H1 is not found and every time, i update the blog with the new article - the first article is mentioned as H2. So in Homepage, Changing the H2 title frequently will it have some problem ?

Backlink from foreign language websites good for SEO
So my perspective is similar to what everyone else here is saying, but I still feel like I can add something to the conversation. If you believe that the future of links has to do with co-citations (as described by Rand in this WBF) then language HAS to be a factor. http://www.seomoz.org/blog/prediction-anchor-text-is-dying-and-will-be-replaced-by-cocitation-whiteboard-friday We already knew that anchor text was being devalued, but the words surrounding that anchor text will also have an effect. Having said all that, those links would still signal some kind of authority, right? For example, CNET probably has links from 50 different languages. As long as the sites are authoritative that has to be a positive signal on some level. I'd say, as long as the link doesn't cost you anything, go for it. It won't hurt. And if you write a great landing page in Italian it could be a good long-term investment.

Do article submissions work for SEO?
Article directories have been heavily devalued with the big Google updates. While they were once quite powerful, that time has now gone. Definitely won't say they won't pass any value at all, because they will, but put it this way - for every 1 article you submit to a general article submission site, you could probably find 100 better websites, blogs or more to post it to.

How Google handles with paid directories?
Actually it is quite easy for Google to understand if a directory is still a reliable and valuable source of information and what is simply another easy (paid) tactic for ranking. SEO Directories are easy to be discovered, as they declares quite easily their nature ("insert your site for better rankings..."), they offer link back as "paying option", they don't have usually incoming traffic (aka: users don't use them) and don't send traffic to the sites present in the directory. Also their cheapness can be taken as an alarm signal: 5 € is not really a sign of a real editorial control, revision and maintenance by the directory. Instead directories like Yahoo! still have a value, and - apart from having the trust factor of being Yahoo - it has a real editorial control and never mention rankings as one of the advantages of paying for being present in their directory.
