What Google Analytics Data to Share with Potential Website Buyer
Initially, I would get the competitor to sign an NDA so that there aren't any issues later. It really doesn't matter how much you're going to sell the website and domain name for, you want to protect yourself in the future. Initially, I would point them to SEMrush.com for data, as that typically has as much as someone would need. And, it's a third party offering the data. As for Google Analytics access, I wouldn't give them Analytics access at first, I would ask them what data they are looking for. You can typically give them a PDF that shows the past year of page views, showing the "monthly" view. I also would share with them the referral sources, so that they understand that the site isn't gaming the page view numbers.

Image URLs changed 3 times after using a CDN - How to Handle for SEO?
Sorry I missed this follow-up earlier. Within the site map you'll want to change the http://WWW to http://CDN for these image files. The www version of your site, and the cdn server are on two different IPs / server. You want images to be serving from the CDN one. For 2, if you do use 301 redirection I'd recommend scripting it so that the script inspects whether or not it's an image file and then applies the cdn change. A pro in your area that works with REgex and htaccess will be able to guide you through that. The username.net-dns.com thing... That's not your server is it? You can't apply redirects on servers outside of your control. Cheers!

Why don't I outrank this site?
Moz is only one set of data and it is limited. There are a lot of other factors that come into play. Their anchor text could be richer, I see more followed domains for them in Ahrefs, they may have more NAP listings or branded mentions than you, they may be better optimized on site. It's hard to get an accurate picture of the landscape, but you just need to remember that all these tools provide insight and some data, but they're not working with a complete data set.

George is right, I think it might be best to ask this question here: http://forums.iis.net/

Site De-Indexed except for Homepage
Resolved! Thanks for your replies everyone. The strange thing was that even though the www version of pages did seem to 301 to non-www version (I checked headers were indeed 301), all our pages had disappeared from Google index and rankings too (exept homepage). The resolution came after we had our host reset the domain to www version on the server to the original state. Within days of changing that, all our deindexed pages (the whole site) jumped back into the original ranking positions in Google with www version and are re-indexed like nothing had happened. Hope this helps someone else.

Does Yahoo Directory Listing Pass Authority with PA:0 and 0 links from 0 Root Domains?
the most likely explanation is the moz's bot had not crawled that page ( is too deep), to give it a value. Note: google bots crawls a lot more than moz's bot and so it will give that page value, its easy to test, google the url and see it its indexed. Does it pass any authority is a different question. I have heard mixed opinions about the yahoo directory, some saying its worth the money, other saying its not. Personally and currently I would not bother paying for it, but I would not tell someone they shouldn't get it. At my last job I did not renew the link one year and it did not seem to have any effect on the site's serp (but I cannot prove it did not) If you search the forums you will find alot of topics about it.

Appearing in Universal Results drops us from Organic Results
Thanks for your answers! So our local universal 7 box result links to our homepage, rather than Place page - great, but sometimes I see Google decides to link to a companies Place page instead. Why? And how can we ensure it stays linking to our homepage rather than Place page? Do we lnow what factors influence this? And Is it ok to get Place reviews or might this cause it toshore Place page instead ? Thanks!

How Can I View Last Week's Page Grading?
Thanks, yes I didn't notice it there - great. So now that I have corrected some optimization on my pages, how can I force the "Report Card" of on-page grading to re-check my url - it seems to only show the previously recorded grade as if it is cached. Or do I have to wait til next week to know if I hit the grade - I seem to remember being able to run it manually on demand before?

Citation Sources for Google Places when located in Europe/Middle-East
Thanks I'll try. I also found another one - at first it's only UK looking but actually it has directories for all European cities inside, for example: http://www.qype.co.uk/es511-barcelona

Sitewide Header Link to Sister Site
No not at all, this is just normal linking, dont use no-follow, there is nothing to be gained by them, they still leak link juice like any other link, it just goes nowhere, instead of passing to the linked page.

Should I remove all rel=nofollow links?
If the links are pointed at your own sites, there's no reason not to let the juice flow to your own pages.

Is using WPML (WordPress Multilingual Plugin) ok for On-Page SEO?
Hi,I know that this post is really old but in case someone comes across it like I just did, I can confirm that as a SEO consultant, I faced no problem whatsoever with WPML for SEO purposes. You can define unique title and meta tags with Yoast SEO for all your languages. You can even have the same image with a different alt tag depending on the language. The only downside I have with WPML is it tends to get your WooCommerce website really slow if you have thousand of products and the translations get messy sometimes. I had to use their troubleshooting tools to resolve some translating issues. dixfractions.com

How to balance International and Local Search targeting?
Hi Again Emerald, I hope we are all understanding your question better after the further details you have provided. As you answered all of my 4 questions - positively - for your city in Spain, then there is no reason why you cannot engage in a Local Search campaign. When I search, from my computer in the USA, for 'travel agency madrid, spain' Google shows me local results for that city. So, yes, it is certainly possible for you to do this. You will want to make sure that your website has basic local optimization in place and then get the business listed in Google Places and other relevant local business indexes. On a final note, I need to mention that I would not recommend setting up any virtual offices either in the USA or Spain as this would violate Google's Places Quality Guidelines. See: http://support.google.com/places/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=107528 Hope this helps! Miriam
