SEO planning: Franchise/multiple local sites
All of the sites you mentioned seem to do this primarily through user generated content (ie reviews). This path makes sense as it is "unique and providing value." It looks like reviews may just be the table stakes to play this game at scale. I do like how thumbtack created some localized content here http://www.thumbtack.com/tx/houston/#/2014/1\. That looks like something I could use for inspiration.

Where am I going wrong?
Edward, I just had another thought. If you have good photography it would probably be worth starting a Pinterest board for your products and recipes. Best of luck, Amelia

Confused by Moz page grading tool
I actually show both terms graded as a C for that page. If you run the page grader again (http://pro.moz.com/tools/on-page-keyword-optimization/new) it actually lists out exactly what items it looks for and doesn't find and those are the reasons why the grade would be lower. If there is a green check mark to the left of the item then that means it was able to find this on your page, if the green check is missing then that is something you should focus on.

Google won't index my site?
Hi thanks for getting back. Yes got it sorted though you're right about even the smallest error causing major issues - left a [ character in the file which brought everything to its knees...one other small issue is that the Moz analytics tool is saying that I have duplicate content on 3 pages, but they're all the same page? See attached. any ideas how to solver this? x24dKw9.png
