Hi guys

So I have 3 top level domains - I'm seeing backlinks that point to each other.  Is this something that I need to fix? I'm not too sure if this practice is ethical, but I'm not entirely sure how all the links are pointing towards each other  and if this is something I will get pulled up for how do i go about fixing it?

My 3 domains are as follows:

zenory.com, zenory.com.au and zenory.co.nz

I would appreciate some advice around this!

A question - with regards to the **Taxonomies **I checked all that you referred to, however I seem to have an extra one for ad groups?

Under XML sitemaps - I see tags and categories under this section do should I un-check this area also?

Okay I ran into moz analytics - I have I have 199 Issues, priority issues are showing 38 Duplicate page content.  I began looking into the URL's and from what I have noticed from all the urls are showing me a common theme.

The urls are pointing to my blog pages - my blog is using wordpress. What iv noticed is the urls all have "Tag" in it

Here are 3 examples that I have found.  All url's take me to a blank page:

Does anyone know what the solution is to fixing this? I read the article for duplicate content covering 301 redirects and Rel=Canonical tags - I'm wondering if this would need to be considered in this case? However I find it confusing that these pages for to a blank page.

Hi guys

Just a check up really, I submitted my site to google web master tools for removal, but I can see my developer has not managed to take the site down at all.  I can see when i search site:domainname that none of the pages are showing up as indexed does this mean that google have removed it completely? If so, can I delete my entry within google web master tools?

Also, I noticed I had not been receiving sufficient information to my 3 top level domains it appears because i didn't add the https status.  I have since updated them all to https status, so can I now just go ahead and deleted the other sites within GWT?

That makes a lot of sense.  We use Wordpress only for the blog, but the main site is custom built and doesn't have an yoast plugin.

So I'm not sure how that will work, when I create the site map with screaming frog do I need to include the blog pages in screaming frog if I'm using the yoast plugin?

I'm having this same issue currently!  I have ssl on all 3 domains and realise I was adding the http version and not the https version.  I have since updated it now, how long did you take for you to receive the updated information after you made the adjustments?

Hi Clockie, great question! I'm actually in the same boat! i wanted to ask a question to Matt since i see you mentioned you work alot with the AU and US domains!

I have 3 Top level domains CO.NZ , COM.AU AND COM (for USA)

I'm also wondering why my sites for AU and COM are not showing anything in the rankings, I launched in Nov of 2014 and have seen some good positive results for CO.NZ but not showing anything for the other two.  I have added the geo targeting in WMT for all sites, lang tags, and also CcTLDs.  Still not getting anything, is there perhaps something I'm doing wrong?

I seem to be having a lot of sitemap issues.

1. I have 3 top level domains, all with the co.nz sitemap that was submitted

2. I'm in the midst of a site re-design so I'm unsure if I should be updating these now or when the new site goes live (in two weeks)

3. I have 19 warnings from GWT for the co.nz site and they gave me 3 examples looks like 404 errors however I'm not too sure and a bit green on my behalf to find out where the issues are and how to fix them.  (it is also showing that 95 pages submitted and only 53 were indexed)

4. I generated recently 2 sitemaps for .com and com.au submitted these both to google and when i create i still see the co.nz sitemap

Would love some guidance around this.

According to WMT and Moz I have added the CcTLDs and Hreflang tags correctly and set up geo targeting seems to be fine.

Just can't seem to find out why the .com and com.au isn't ranking or showing any sign of being in the top 50 for a long tail keyword yet?  I launched in Nov 2014 and we rank reasonably well for the NZ search, but it seems the .com doesn't appear to show anything.

I'm mindful I had submitted the same sitemap for the co.nz to thecom.au and also the com and wondering if that had any effect.

We are in the middle of a site re-design so I wasn't going to submit the new sitemaps until the new design had been updated to the live environment.
