For offsite link analysis and monitoring the authority of your domain over time, you're better off monitoring the following metrics in Open Site Explorer or the SEOMoz PRO tool: Page Authority of the homepage Domain Authority Total Linking Root Domains to the entire site Those are the metrics that we focus on for client link building campaigns.
