Increasing positions in local maps
Our team is working with a small law firm and we haven’t had as much luck increasing their local visibility for those key terms that they would like to rank for:
- Santa Barbara accident attorney/lawyer
- injury attorney Santa Barbara
- wrongful death injury lawyers
- serious injury attorney Santa Barbara
We’ve currently got an 87% on Moz Local, 12 5 star reviews on Google+ and are working to raise the bar, however the client is unhappy not being on the top 3 - there are also instances where firms with 0 reviews, non verified G+ pages who rank higher than them. They lost a lot of links when they moved from a large marketing firm specializing in working with attorneys to our firm, which could be a factor. Although we’re gaining ground, they are considering going back as they only want the results - and I don’t blame them.
Would appreciate any tips, thoughts, or advice so we can help this client.

Joomla SEO
With so many articles on the web talking about how difficult Joomla is to work with in regards to SEO, I'm curious as to what techniques / changes you guys make when using Joomla with your SEO / inbound practices? Any extensions that you love? An extensions that you hate?

One Location - Multiple Businesses
We have a client that has multiple businesses running out of the same address with no difference in suite number - what's the best way to work with this considering NAP?
The owner runs several different service businesses and a few online businesses (all legit) out of the same large office space and we want to try to figure out how to get him listed locally with the obvious NAP issue. We can get new phone numbers, but not sure of the best way to handle the duplicate address issue.
Thoughs?

RE: Facebook Pages - Best to have one page or multiple pages when a company has multiple locations?
Thank you Oleg! Each page is essentially the same. It's obviously easier to manage one page, rather than multiple - especially since they plan on acquiring more locations.

Facebook Pages - Best to have one page or multiple pages when a company has multiple locations?
I'm working with a business that has multiple locations (13) in several different states. Is it best practice to have one central FB page for the company and/or separate location pages?
It's for a self storage company that does not have one central phone number, so each location would have separate information listed on the page. They do have a central website with different pages for each location.
I'd love to hear the communities thoughts on the best way to handle this.

#MOZcon - who's going?
MOZcon is just around the corner. There will be many of us flying from all over the world to join. I'd like to arrange a pre and post conference chat at a local bar so all of us can meet one and have fun. If you're like me, you're busy, doing well, and can use a good time have a drink with someone who understands your obsession with getting clients found online.

RE: Giveaway outreach - duplicate content?
This is a good question and I think we'd need more info, but I'd first put a canonical tag on your page showing you as the original author and I'd format your flier as a PDF or image, making it slightly more work to copy. Of course, all of these have get-arounds, but they do make it more difficult for someone looking to simply copy the material.

RE: Should I use BOTH UBL and Localeze?
Thank you Miriam. I have a client that has had problems with NAP in the past and I'm in the process of setting them up with Localeze. I know there's a lot of cross-over between the data aggregation but was wondering if multiple data points was good. The additional $39 for UBL isn't a large investment if it's helpful. I've seen a lot of discussion about which one is best, but not much about using multiple services together. I'll check the article.
I appreciate you taking the time to reply!

HTML NAP Matching Place Page NAP
In David Mihm's article on Local Search Ranking Factors, he lists "HTML NAP Matching Place Page NAP". What is this exactly?
