It could be a profile of your business on literally any platform. Google-specific lingo these days is that you can create a Google+ Local page using the Google Places for Business dashboard. Hi Gary, I thought I had added a local listing for London, do you know where I can do this?

I would add a link from the home page to the rest of your content (the .com site) but make it clear that people will be taken to a new site. Redirects not required.
