Thanks but I would like it to automatically adjust the bid depending on stock levels. I don;t fancy doing this manually

Google adwords Tools -
Hello, I am looking for a tool which will increase the max PPC bid on google as my stock levels increase or decrease. So if I have 100 of X part the bid will increase by X% and if stock is 0 then the adword is suspended. We have 10,000 lines so it would be really useful. Does such a tool exists? Cheers David

RE: Is 1 design better than another?
I prefer the second site but I would be careful about using lots of links in your footer. It doesn't look good and is seen as a negative by some search engines.

RE: Keyword quota exceeded! Need help with Adwords Strategy
Hi Keri,
Google increased my limit just before the problems with impression not showing started. I guess that the two are connected. I will never know

Thanks again
David

RE: Google Ads not showing
Sorted - thank god. Google haven't told me what was wrong only that it has been fixed. I can now see the results for the past three weeks.
Many thanks for all the responses and help

RE: Google Ads not showing
The problem is in the hands of the google gods. I contacted Google who said that I was getting click and impressions on my UK ad campaign. I then sent them a screen shot and the problem has now been elevated to technical support. It has been going on for days now

Google Ads not showing
Hello,
I am having some trouble with my google adwords. I decided to split my existing campaign into two campaigns, one for customers in the UK and one for the rest of the world. The keywords are the same - only the message is different.
i.e.
Tractor Parts
Free UK shipping on Tractor parts
&
Tractor Parts
Fast shipping to Europe from the UK
According to Google Adwords my UK campaign has had no impressions and no clicks. However if I search for one of the keywords it appears in the search results with the UK text.
Anyone got any ideas?

RE: Keyword quota exceeded! Need help with Adwords Strategy
Thanks David & Cocaracea
I emailed Google as I couldn't find the UK phone number.
Not seen the problem you mentioned however I have noticed the quality score vary for each part number. This is strange as each one has the same format (title, h1 etc) and description.

Keyword quota exceeded! Need help with Adwords Strategy
Hello,
I was playing around with my Adwords and received a nice message from Google saying "Keywood Quota exceed". Basically I have too many keywords. That made me wonder if I could organize my keywords better.
I sell tractor parts online. The majority of traffic is from people putting the part number into Google i.e 0J51MP5ON . It therefore made sense to use the manufactures SKU as keywords. The problem is that we have 30,000 keywords and will be moving to 100,000 - which above the Google limit.
Each keyword links to the appropriate page on the website i.e. 0J51MP5ON goes to the 0J51MP5ON page.
To make things simpler I could cut down on keywords by redirecting all parts starting with 0J5 to a 0J5 landing page for parts being with 0J5. The would be from the same Tractor manufacturer. However, I am worried this will reduce conversation rates. It will make it easier to manage the keywords.
Anyone got any better suggestions?

RE: Changing the domain - To do or not to do - that is the question
thanks for all the pointer.
I know the dash was a bad idea. We kind of fell into ecommerce by accident and it has been a case of trial and error.
My domain authority is 26/100 - so a lot of work to be done.

Changing the domain - To do or not to do - that is the question
Hello,
I am in the process of updating my website (hopefully to improve SEO). It is a major update as we are going from 20,000 product line to 200,000 product lines and hiring two marketing people to work on more content. Unfortunately, I think my domain isn't the best
i.e.
Some of the parts have long part numbers and I am worried that my URLs will be too long i.e. I will lose link juice from the search engines.
typical url
www.direct-tractorparts.com/6XY41210TTTAZCAz2
I am thinking of launching the new site with a shorter domain name rather than updating the old site. My site doesn't have that many backlinks but generates a decent level of business for my company. Not sure if it would be worth setting up another brand or not
Anyone got any advice?

RE: Question about web site structure
Too many sub folders isn't good for SEO and you can have problems with duplicate content. Personally I would go with the first option. I try to ensure products have the following URL structure
store.com/product-laser-gadget.html
You need to avoid the following situation;
store.com/gadget/product-laser-gadget.html

RE: Dashes / Slashes / Full Spots in Meta Tile.
Thanks for the link Gary.
I watched the video on misspellings;
http://www.seomoz.org/dp/seomoz-pro-video-tips
I think this would be a good way to capture variants of the part number search

RE: Dashes / Slashes / Full Spots in Meta Tile.
thanks Joel . Gary.
Gary, I always believed "-" was treat the same as " " or "" i.e. Monkey-Butler would be treated the same as "Monkey Butler" or "MonkeyButler" or "Monkey" & "Butler". But after reading your response I am now not so sure. Your answer seems logical. Anyone know the answer?
I actually found a decent answer to my intial question in the Pro Video section about misspellings

Dashes / Slashes / Full Spots in Meta Tile.
Hello,
I have a question how about how google sees dashes, slashes, full stops etc. I am new to SEO so this might be dumb.
I sell refurbished printer parts. The majority of people search for the part number in google.
A typical part number might be "04.F5/S3A YA50" . A customer might search for "04F5S3A YA50" or "04.F5/S3AYA50" or "04.F5/S3A YA50" or "04.F5/S3A-YA50". They aren't radically different but seem to effect the rankings.
At the moment I use the following stucture for the meta tiles, descriptions etc
04.T5/S3A YA50 (04T5S3AYA50) by OEM | mysite
Buy refurbished OEM 04.T5/S3A YA50 (04T5S3AYA50). Free next day delivery. 12 month warrnanty on all parts.
www.mysite/4F5S3AYA50
Part number (Part number no spaces) by OEM | Mysite
Generic text Part number (Part number no spaces) text
www.mysite/(Part number no spaces
My questions, should I try to include all the different ways a customer might search for a part number in my meta title, description, url etc. Or should I try to include within the content of the page.
Many thanks
