Help with Effective Meta Description
Are you any good at what you? How wil the prospective customer benefit form hiring you? Do you have satisfied customers ? Who is your target audience? You need to hit as many of these crucial points as possible. It's hard! Writing meta descriptions is a bit like writing haiku. Mentioning both the free assessment and free trial may be a mistake. It's a mixed message that is overly complicated. Maybe something like: Thousands of satisfied customers love our over- the- top IT support. Find out why during your free trial. May we delight you? or: With over 30 years experience, we delight customers with our over-the-top 24/7 IT support. Ask for a free trial today.

I have a private/login site where all pages are noindex, nofollow. Can I still monitor external site links with Google Analytics?

How do I add "noindex" or "nofollow" to a link in Wordpress
Hi Rahul, It isn't really the link you need to be noindexing, but the URL the link is pointing to. To do this, just use the good old Yoast SEO plugin: http://yoast.com/wordpress/seo/ Peter

Keyword cannibalization
Hi Rahul, you shouldn't have any cannibalization issue, but the high repetition of a keyword of you category may led google to sometimes show your category keyword page instead of the category one if it's capable to achieve enough value. As an example looking at the /IT-Support/IT-Support-Servers page why not making that /IT-Support/Servers in that sense you won't be repeating so much your keywords there, which is less spammy, shorter and cleaner both for google and for users.

Block Level Link Juice
I don't think I've seen any tests on that but one way to test would be to put link to three separate but very similar pages from three other pages of very similar strength--one of those would have a link to one of the target pages from the footer, one would have a link to the second target page from the body, and one would have a link to the third target page from the navigation bar. All links would use the same nonsense anchor text. Once all the pages percolated, you'd expect that a search in google for the nonsense term would show that the top result would be from the strongest link.

Which is the better taxonomy?
Hi, keywords located in the file path or file name of a document will appear bolded in search results. This bolded appearance is what can affect your CTR. A higher CTR will provide higher authority which is a signal that affects organic rank. It also depends on the keyword you're targeting. If your keyword is "hr outsourcing solutions" and you are also targeting "hr outsourcing" then the latter makes more sense in terms of taxonomy. In a world of Penguin updates I would avoid the former in case your audience pulls in the URL as your anchor text frequently. The double use of your target phrase in the URL would then also "over optimize" your anchor text signals and may get a Penguin penalty.

Forms vs. Buttons
Thanks for the help. Can you give me an example of gathering info a little at a time? A website that does this? Remember, I am trying to get leads, not make a sale. We will be giving away a white paper. Any other ideas are welcome.

Link masking in WordPress
I've seen people recreate their primary landing pages at new URLs, link to them from a custom sidebar menu, and then rel=canonical the original landing pages, linked to from their primary navigation, to those new URLs. I wouldn't do it, though.

Organic SEO for Local Towns
This might work, but could be seen as doorway pages and could be penalized down the road. After all you are creating pages for the sole purpose of targeting a keyword/area. If you submit your company address, I guess google will show results in your area or near your area, so if you are competitve, it might not be necessary for you to create pages for each city near you.
